I vote we use the old Kentucky, not this one.

Yeah, after the testing we've done, this track has been determined to suck ass as far as racing goes. 3-4 is retarded, and 1-2 is gonna be a wreck fest especially after restarts.

Well I hope we decide soon, b/c I've been working on my setup like crazy for this version. I've got'er down pat with my setup.

if I can get the track opened in sandbox I can look at the grip tomorrow and see if theres anything I can do. If not, we'll just run Kentucky09 I suppose.

since we are not racing tonight, could we test Kentucky09 tonight if people are on?

I dont care which version we use...But a Bristol setup would be faster than what I've got so far..So I wouldnt mind a change.

tbh, the 2011 is really awkward and we prolly wont have good racing with the racing lines. i say we just test out 09 and then do a vote since some people have been working on setups like crazy for '11

I'm just saying, from the tests we've done online, the track is single file in 3-4 and really not much better in 1-2. I've been working on my set since WG but I still wouldn't mind switching if it makes for a better race.

I think the 2011 version is fine.. The other Kentuckys I've ran never had any good racing either.

I personally like the old kentucky js, we use to race that in cri trucks. I don't like the new kentucky with the inside walls and pit road. but i have to agree, turn 3/4 is going to be a shitfest. its basically darlington but narrower

It's a little late now for a track change, which is why I said we'll see how things go with grip changes, I doubt we're switching tracks, the only thing I think will happen is giving the low lane more grip in 3-4, and the highline a bit more grip in 1-2. Eitherway most Kentucky's have never really had good racing lines unless it was cts or something.

I just would like to give a little bit of change to improve it, instead of completely changing everything and messing people up who have been working on a setup for a while.

I would just take grip off the high line in turn 3/4 its like driving a damn open wheel car up there. turns 1 and 2 are pretty balanced

yeah lowering the 3-4 grip would be best

I wouldnt just go and change the grip of the paint to make it match whatever is on the high side in turn 1, because paint affects your car differently, i would try to open the tack and change the paint to whatever surface type is in turn 1
