BIG EVIL Racing BER_TeamLogo_2012_poss

BER is coming back for another season here at the Solstice Pro-Line Series, and now stronger than ever. Towards the end of season 4, Chad Mikosz, owner of BER, had a discussion with another team. That team was formally known of Lambert-Lawrence Racing. Mikosz picked up both drivers, Brandon Lambert and Season 3's Daytona 500 winner Brett Lawrence, and also added another part time driver, Jarrett Stewart, to the mix. Now with a 4 car stable, BER looks to do great things. Chad Mikosz will be in the #25, Brandon Lambert in the #5, Brett Lawrence in the #14, and Jarrett Stewart in the #4. BER also picked up major sponsorship for his new drivers like Office Depot, GameStop, Quaker State, Tornados, Oreo, and Ritz just to name a few. This season could be an amazing one for the BER power house, and no look no further than the front to find this team, because BER is going to be a force to be reckoning with.

Owner:
Chad Mikosz

Drivers, #'s, & Sponsors:
Chad Mikosz - #25
Amp Energy, Diet Mountain Dew, & National Guard

Brandon Lambert - #5
Office Depot, Quaker State, GoDaddy.com, National Guard, & Amp Energy

Brett Lawrence - #14
GameStop, Alienware, Tornados, & GoPro

Jarrett Stewart - #4
Oreo & Ritz

LAMBERT GETS THE WIN IN PRO-LINE SHOOTOUT!

BIG EVIL Racing DaytonaShootoutS5small

After a long race, Lambert pulls it off and wins the Pro-Line Season 5 Shootout. Lambert & Lawrence both had strong cars all through the race and ran up front for most of the day. Brett Lawrence would end up leading towards the end of the while Lambert was back behind the pack after #9 Nick Baker came up the track and put Lambert in the outside wall. Lambert would lose the draft with about 15 to go. All he could hope for was a caution, and he got it with 4 laps to go. Lambert came in and got his body work done and 4 fresh tires and came out of the pits 8th. With a green-white-checkered in the mist, Lambert knew what he had to do, drive the car like crazy for two laps. And wouldn't you know, he did just that. On the green flag, Lambert got a good restart and started heading towards the front on the outside. Coming to one to go, Lambert was in forth catching the front 3 cars, Lawrence, DK, & Brian. Coming off the trioval, Lawrence heard his spotter say Lambert is coming low, and Brett got caught mirror driving. He would slid up into Brian and had a three car pile up. Lambert, who was right behind it, dove his car to the apron to avoid the wreck. Lambert came back onto the track and had to hold off the #55 & the #6, and he did just that. Going into turn 3, the #6 of Livingood, bumped Lambert instead of trying to pass him, and Lambert knew he had in the bag. He would go on to the checkered flag in first place and win. This is Lambert's first win at Daytona in a cup in a long time and his first for BER. Lambert was overwhelmed from his win!

Mikosz to make first Cup Series start once again at the Glen, Brings in new sponsor:

It appears that the #25 team will attempt this weeks race at Watkins Glen. The team hasn't mentioned any set-ups, but they will be looking for a good run this week to see how their new team set up will work for the rest of the season. Mikosz and the #25 team went through many changes with the addition of the new B.E.R drivers, Brandon Lambert and Cody Erdmann. "I really hope we have a good race tomorrow. I don't usually run well at the roadies, but it will be my first race back, and I think the #25 Diet Dew/National Guard team will be strong the whole race."

Home Depot has joined the BIG EVIL Racing team as well this season, in which they will adorn one of the team's cars in select events this season. "I've worked with Home Depot in the past, and my dad recently got a job in one of their locations, so it's nice to have some family involved with this deal too."
