in Guilford County, North Carolina residents are reporting voting for Romney and it comes up voting for Obama.

I'm gonna figure out of this is legal, but if it is I am going to be taking my keychain HD video camera in with me and when I vote for Gary Johnson if it comes up with anything other than Gary Johnson, there will be problems.

Pressure doesn't indicate how strong a storm is. It is a factor in it's development, but there's no way a storm in the North Atlantic in late October with cool ocean temps is going to stay strong, let alone develop farther.

There are many questions surrounding this hurricane and its forecast, but I find it important to convey that Sandy's impacts will be widespread, no matter the location of "landfall." Risk to the Mid-Atlantic seems higher this afternoon, and as Jeff noted in his morning blog, Sandy will be a very large and possibly non-tropical storm as it approaches the coast, with gale-force winds extending up to 300 miles from its center. This increases the probability of storm surge extending far from the center of the storm, which, combined with the timing of a full moon tide, is a big concern, along with freshwater and river flooding from heavy, extended periods of rain.

sandy has intensified a bit, the pressure has dropped and wind speeds are up to 85 MPH and are expected to exceed 90 MPH before landfall

I'm in fucking Ohio and I'm under a wind advisory for 40-50mph wind gusts. Ice pelelts expected tonight and light snow tomorrow morning.

Yay for being in the middle of the country, hope everyone out there is safe, as far as I know Brian is the only one in any kind of danger.

I'll probably lose power tonight, 50MPH gusts so hopefully no trees through my roof.

Naaah I'm having fun with this one. Just drove down to the ocean and a few other places near the water. For the most part theres only flooding in the low-lying places



Thats where I worked last winter, at this point its completely surrounded by water. The winds are starting to pick up though and it should get pretty bad in the next few hours. I've only seen one tree go down. Actually they just recorded an 81 mph wind gust just south of me.

Praying for all of those in the Northeast. Espcially you, Brian. We can't live without our walrus.

Although it is just me, Ryan and Sanderline in the NC area. Might as well post this still. Seen alot of race cars/race car parts(victim of this as far as parts go) over time.
