| Just looking for opinions on what you guys think is a good wheel (preferably the best choice) to get so I can get back into this Sim Racing deal. I've done pretty damn good in NR2003 and iRacing with the hunk of junks I've used for 6 or 7 years but I've always wanted to see how I would do with some of the same wheels most people use out there. I know the G27 is probably the latest and greatest but I know a few folks who had TSW's and loved those as well. I never really wanted to spend 150 or 200 bucks on a steering wheel but I think it might be a good investment. Maybe if I bought a new one it wouldn't break after 6 months lol.
I drove with the plastic piece of crap Logitech NASCAR Wheel (I shouldn't say that, I did good with that damn thing but still lol) during my entire time racing NR2003 and ran quite a few iRacing races/leagues with it but switched to a partially screwed up G25 wheel that I bought (Wasn't a huge issue with the wheel but it was definitely not at 100% when I bought it.) Then again it was used when purchased so thats on me lol. I'm not sure if I should the G25 again and hope its not broke or look into the G27. Feel free to post what you guys race with/prefer to use.

| I've had my G25 since early 08. It's starting to take its toll but I never really had any problems with the wheel itself. Pedals began to not preform at 100% every 18 or so months but after some cleaning they're fine. Over the past bit my shifters h-pattern had also screwed up, but I have used it quite a bit since 2008 lol. I'm sure the G27 would be a good investment. | |

| On an unrelated not, if anyone has a old wheel with functional pedals, I'm in the market for one. Got 3 months of iRacing but my brakes on my Thrustmaster don't fucking register. | |

| Now that I has money flowing in, I'm thinking about getting a wheel and possibly iRacing (after I get used to my wheel in 2k3 of course)
I don't like spending too much money, though, so I'd probably just end up getting an older wheel anyways lol
Most guys here had G25's before the G27, but I'm pretty sure Brian's TSW is the best wheel out there ever, and his results speak for themself. lol

| the DFGT is a really good wheel for the money i think they're only like $100 now, I've been using mine since 2009, over 1000 races on it and still runs great. but the pedals that come with it are absolutely crap | |

This. Driving Force GT + Fanatec Elite Pedals are the way to go

| Thanks for the responses, definitely going to look into the wheel you mentioned Jake. It doesn't have to be a G27 so if I can afford a wheel like a DFGT for around 100 bucks I'd be happy lol.
Maybe I can save my money, I do have an Xbox 360 and controllers if anyone has a solid wheel they'd wanna trade lmao
(I realize everyone here probably has an Xbox but I don't play mine much so what the hell lol)
