FIELD LOCK:

-In all series' there is a 25-car field lock for the sake of the racing.

-If it comes into play, the top 15 in points are locked in(last seasons points until race 4)

-Field lock on Superspeedways will be bumped up to 34.

CAUTION PROCEDURES:

We do not use the in game caution system, they are too sensitive and take too long.

We will throw a Yellow IF:
*2 or more cars involved in a single accident
*3-5 or more single car incidents in a run depending on track and field size (ie: self spin or off track with hard contact)

**NEW**
After a certain number of laps(depending on track size) after the last single car incident the count will be cleared.
Short tracks (<1 Mile) - 15 Laps
Intermediates (1.0-1.9 Miles) - 10 Laps
Big Tracks/Roadies (2.0 Miles+) - 5 Laps

ALSO single car incidents not involving contact within the first few Laps of a run will not be counted.
Short tracks (<1 Mile) - First 5 Laps
Intermediates (1.0-1.9 Miles) - First 3 Laps
Big Tracks(2.0 Miles+) - First 2 Laps
Roadies - First Lap

Getting spun by another car will count as a caution on tracks 1.5 miles or larger if we feel it's necessary, otherwise it will count as a single car.

Cars that are involved in a single car incident will not be counted more than once in a run.

If you get spun by someone else you will not be counted if you self spin later in that run, sorry but that's how it has to go.

the caution is officially out when an admin says "CAUTION IS OUT" in race chat. We may say it in teamspeak but do NOT start slowing down until you see that.

When we call a caution the field is frozen, slow down to pace speed, UNLESS there is 10 laps or less to go, then you race back to the line for position.

We will say when the pits are open EVERYBODY pit the first time by so we can go green sooner.

On tracks 2 Miles or bigger we will take 1 to go on the lap we pit everywhere else it will be 1 to go the next time we come by after pitting.

The first car a lap down will be awarded a lucky dog, pit with the leaders and take EOLL for the restart.

If you are a lap down when the caution comes out, please fall behind the lead lap cars before we pit so you do not interfere with pitstops

THERE WILL BE NO CAUTIONS AFTER WE HIT 2 LAPS TO GO NO MATTER WHAT!

We will go past the scheduled distance to finish the race under green, it will be a green-white-checkerd.

RESTART PROCEDURES:

-On the initial start we will go on the green flag

-In the Proline Cup Series, the initial start on road courses will be a STANDING start.

-We will line up double file for the restart

-Lapped cars will be EOLL unless they are ahead of the leader, then they will get the wave around

-The LEADER starts the race in the restart zone marked on the tack(like in real life), do not jump the leader, passing the leader before the line is okay as long as you did not start before the leader.

-Wave arounds may catch the field once we hit 1 to go.

PITTING:

-On tracks that have a clearly defined commitment cone you MUST abide by commit cone rules. The game will give you a 30 second penalty if you miss it when you pit, but if you make the cone and try to fake pit afterwards you will be given an EOLL penalty. if you hit the cone you will get an EOLL, on short tracks you must at least touch the orange box if you're pitting.

-If there is a track glitch that gives you a 30 sec penalty you will be able to get your lap back if you get lapped in the pits.

-Merge where it tells you, at Daytona you may merge in turn 1 if we are in the middle of  a green flag stop cycle, but don't merge if a pack is coming, watch your F2 and stay LOW.

!!!VERY IMPORTANT!!!
When pitting, especially under caution, stay to the RIGHT lane on pit road. do NOT try to get under the car in front of you unless your stall is coming up and you are sure that your stall is before theirs. Also, do not pull into the right lane when you exit your stall until you are up to pit road speed.

PENALTIES:

-If you cause a caution and it is deemed avoidable, you may be given an EOLL penalty

-there is no set amount of crashes you can cause before you get parked, but if you show yourself as a problem you will be parked. You may be parked on the first incident if it is severely stupid. We will be more leanient in the Dash Series, but you will be held to a much higher standard in the Proline Cup Series.

-you will not receive the lucky dog if you cause the caution.

-If you cause a crash past 2 laps to go you may be given EOLL after the race.

TEAMSPEAK:

-Keep chatter to a minimum under green.
-Do NOT talk durring qualifying
-If you are annoying or arguing you will be warned
-If you continue you will be muted until the next caution
-If you do it again you will be banned from Teamspeak for the remainder of the race and/or ejected from the race
-Excessive post race arguments will result in a time ban (1 hour or the rest of the night)

INTENTIONAL WRECKING:

-If you feel the need, intent wrecking is somewhat allowed, but it will still follow the avoidable contact procedures. DO NOT involve anyone else or you may be put on probation and/or suspended, if you wreck half the field trying to get payback, you're gonna be gone for a while. If you wreck the same person more than once, same thing will happen. Bottom line, it's allowed to an extent but not encouraged.

There MAY be penalties more severe than an EOLL for intentional wrecking based on the severity on the incident at the admin's discretion. ie: Lap penalty, park, probation.

CONNECTION ISSUES:

-In the result of the server crash we will try to get the server back up and continue the race with the amount of laps left. Cars retired may not re-join the race.

-If you fall out of the race and come back within 15% of the race length (usually 10-15 Laps) you will be scored all but 1 lap back and may earn the lucky dog or wave around next caution.

-If you fall out under during a cation and come back before we go green you can be added back to the lead lap but at the tail of the field.

-If you are warping you may be asked to get to the back of the pack (this should only be a problem at superspeedways or any other track we have pack racing.)

Paint Schemes:

-Cars MUST be painted using the mandatory templates with your correct license layers

-If you're car is damaged by a skydiver during the pre-race you may make repairs without penalty

-Number must be displayed well enough to see. In the 358 series, if you have a number like 033 you may run 33x or a similar variant

-No Pony Cars -_-

Points system:

This is the current system being used for Pro-Line, system for the 358 series is TBA

1. 50
2. 46
3. 43
4. 40
5. 37
6. 34

17. 18
18. 17
19. 16
20. 15
21. 14
22. 13
23. 12
24. 11
25. 10

Bonus pts:
Lap lead: 1 pt
Most laps lead: 1 pt
Pole win: 1 pt
max pts= 53

CHASE:

THERE IS NO CHASE FOR WINTER PRO-LINE SEASON 10!

ONLY in the proline cup series we have a chase for the cup, the top 8 in points are locked in after richmond. There is 1 wild card spot available for the driver with the most wins who has made at least 5 starts, if nobody qualifies for that, 9th in points will make the chase. Points will be reset to 1000 points and each driver will be given 3 points for every win they have except for the wild card. The points leader going into the chase gets an additional 3 pts to their seeding points.

Driver Swaps:

If you can arrange it, you may make a driver swap if you want to. The relieving driver needs to connect to the server with the same name and carfile of the driver they're taking over for. The driver leaving needs to crash their game or fall out of the server in some way. The relieving driver has 10 laps or 15% of the race to get in, the relieving driver will be scored a lap behind where the original driver was running and will be kept on that lap until the next caution where you may receive the lucky dog or wave around.

Looks good.

As a note, everybody keep this in mind. These rules are to be followed as guidelines, not specifically as law. The admins still run this league and reserve the right to hold judgement over ANY event. I'm tired of hearing the "written rule" excuse. Just because it's not written specifically in the rules does not mean you can just do it and expect zero consequence. In the end, the admins have the final say. If there is something that we believe the members and participants should have a say in, it will be made known. Until then, follow instructions and we won't have to order people around and conflict can be avoided rather easily.

Well said, like Sherm said, these rules have a lot of flex. Notice how many of them say "may" rather than "will"

I know we've run like, 10 short tracks across all three series in the past two weeks.

The rule about getting spun counting towards the caution count should be for short tracks/road courses. At 1.5 mile and above tracks I think getting spun should be a caution. I think that's what was discussed a while ago. Just want to make sure it's clarified before we get back to a speedway.
