| If it's not working or showing up, go to your program files x86 then to the Realtek folder. If there's anything else besides an "Audio" folder, just delete that. If there isn't anything else, try to delete the whole Realtek folder. If it does, redownload the driver and try again. | |

| Thats the race car I want. No matter what it looks like...That thing is a freakin fast car. It is 700 dollars race ready. If it was up to me that thing would be sitting in my driveway right now. Of course my parents are telling me no, and giving me a hundred reasons why I cant. I've sat here for 3 years depressed cause I feel like I never get to do anything just cause of how my parents are..I've never really lived..never really had fun..outside of sim racing..which only goes so far. This is the one thing I've always wanted to do..The one thing thing that I can do that can make me feel like I can do something good that people will notice. Even if its just Grand Stocks at THR. I know how my friend told me how good it feels when your friends are wishing you good luck before a race and signing autographs and stuff...Thats always been my dream...Even if its not NASCAR and just a crappy car and a small short track. Now I see my best chance, in the class I want to be in..Racing against my friend. And I can't do it. I know I should be able to stand up for myself and do it..but I guess thats just something not done in my family..or atleast thats how it seems. I probably wouldnt even be able to race this year..but just having the car...would make me so excited. It would give me motivation to work, motivation to do something other than read other people predictions about how we are all going to die tommorow like I do now. I dont have the money right now for the car+trailer+safety+fees, but with a little work I could have that. Plus I know I can get sponsors. Its not like I dont have the money for the car atleast now..I have the cash sitting right behind me for the car..waiting for the go-ahead to get it. | |

| I'd say to hell with them and do it anyways. Your 19. They can't tell you what to do and what not to do. Sooner or later your gonna have to branch out. That's up to you to decide when. | |

+1, if it were me I'd buy the damn thing without even asking or just straight up telling them no matter how much they bitch and moan about it, then again my dad's been okay with me buying a race car, but it would be out of my own pocket and it would be hard with the track being 50 miles away.

| If I were you, I would tell your parents to fuck off and buy the car. Its one thing if they don't want to store it at your house, but they can't tell you what to do. You're 19, and its time they let you make your own choices. | |

| After talking to Wetz about buying a race car, I've been giving consideration of buying a street stock / figure 8 car that can be ran at Rocky Mountain Raceways in both of those classes, and I can also take it to about 3 small dirt tracks within 2 hours my house. Picture of the car, from what it says in the picture in the link, it looks REALLY nice for only being $700. http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=15367086&cat=536&lpid=&search=Luckily I don't have to convince my dad to buy it, but I don't think it's the right time with college, and what not coming soon. | |

| I'm really thinking about buying one soon to race here in Kil Kare for now. I still have hopes of going and buying a street stock in North Carolina and racing there for a while. But we'll see. Just to be out there on a track someplace would be good enough for me. | |

| Well..This is interesting. For those that do not know...Many people trying to figure out possible connections to earthquakes and planetary alignments as well as alignments of comet elenin. The theory behind that is that we dont fully know the forces and the way that things work with regards to the solar system, and that something about the 90 degree alignment puts some kind of small additional strain on the planet and cause a fault to slip. Combined with sun effects I would say this could be a possibility due to the fact that the last 2 major quakes occured on 90 degree alignment days as well. Those being with comet Elenin which is currently making a pass through our solar system. The may 11th date has been talked about for some time. In 1915, a prediction was made by a so-called prophet. He said that tonight (in about 4 hours) a major earthquake would damage Rome severely. This man died about 30 years ago, and since his death Romans have been afraid of that date. Romans are very superstitous people. I mean VERY. They pretty much closed the city and a bunch of people evacuated the city for today. Move ahead to now. We just had 2 5.0+ quakes in Spain, within the hour, that match the prophecy. The depth and location of the quakes, are making people very initially think they seem more foreshocks. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out for Rome over the rest of the day. EDIT: One more thing...HAARP Magnetometer which takes measurement of the spectral density of the magnetosphere, just went nuts in the way it did before the Haiti and Japan quakes.

| Makes sense at least, gonna be interesting to see what happens. Are we gonna be able to see the comet? | |

| I posted something above about HAARP showing a lot of activity in the magnetosphere.
Comet Elenin should produce a huge light show. Its coming a little too close to us for some people's comfort, but it shouldnt come close to hitting us. It is passing infront of earth's orbit in late september. We will be passing through its tail. Which should mean a lot of meteorites,

| Spent $75 on 7 tracks for iRacing, I know that seems like a lot, and I guess it is, but I got Chicagoland, Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps, Darlington, Dover, Homestead-Miami, Indianapolis, Stafford. iRacing gives you a big deal for getting 5 or more tracks. | |
