Well if we hopefully get back underway next week, you guys wanna give a shot at the cone rule? And only in this series since this wouldn't work well at all on speedways lol. Let me explain.

Basically what most short tracks are doing now is placing a cone on the track (if we do it, it will be a magical invisible wall Razz) And the drivers can either choose inside lane or the outside lane, now say if the leader and 2nd place wants to stay on the low line, and the 3rd place car wants to choose the outside, then he pulls up along side the leader And whoever was behind him going single file the lap before wants to choose the outside as well, just lines up behind him and so on..(If someone was accused of causing the caution, they will need to stay EOLL on the inside lane) And the leader can choose outside as well if he wants, and whoever is on the inside will just pull up along side him, except he will lead them to the green at the line.

Only reason why I purpose this is because I saw it for the first time tonight at I-25 and it produced some pretty awesome racing.

As long as someone who decides to change their mind after they go past the cone gets an EOLL or BF for changing lanes, I'm all for it, I think it would be a sick rule.

To shorten up that entire paragraph.

Everybody has lane choice on the restart. tongue

I'd be willing to give it a shot.

Sounds a bit complicated to do in NR2003, but fun. I'll be using it a lot.

It's not complicated at all when cautions are turned off lol, you pick your own lane, basically if everyone chooses the inside, you choose the outside, you can go all the way up to 2nd theoretically lol.
