*MEGA BUMP*
So the new Sim CIty game was released about 11 hours ago. Everyone (including me) loves the graphics, but longtime franchise fans are disappointed they have overly simplified it. It also requires you to play the game through Origin; no Steam version available. And you have to be online 100% of the time. You cannot play offline. There is no real single player, although you could lock yourself in a private region. Predictably, this has been awful. The game's Metacritic is being flooded with negative comments such as this;
"Server reached maximum capacity and so I was placed in a queue and was not allowed to play a SINGLE PLAYER GAME because it forces me to constantly be online. So despite my flawless internet connection, EA's incompetence has forced me to postpone playing a game I'd like to play on my own anyway."
And there are screenshots like this;

Sim City shitstorm is ongoing. Gamespot gave it a 5/10. Server issues so bad that its been removed form Amazon.com downloads section and is on its way to being the worst rated product on Amazon.com ever. They have disabled most in-game features and the fastest speed setting, which coincidentally helps server issues while making the game awful.
On a positive note, the someone similar Tropico series is 75% off all week on Steam. I'd highly recommend snagging Tropico 4.
Also, Age of Empires 2 HD is available for preorder on Steam. It will include achievements, Steam Workshop and Steam Servers.

How's the simcity shit going now? other than the terrible server shit it looks like a pretty fun game. I'm thinking of getting it soon, but I'd like to wait until it's stable.

So NTG - PC has been officially announced. I might have to try it out, but I think i will stick with NR, iR and rF . And apparently there is a new MotoGP game coming out soon? And it looks like Forza Motorsport 5 will have open wheel cars for the first time in the series including the Dallara DW12 IndyCar!
