I can't believe it has been one year since Chloe's Aneurysm... It seems like just yesterday I read it on facebook and went into shock.

One year ago, my good friend Chloe had a brain aneurysm out of nowhere. This is what her website says;
(I know it is a lot, but please bare with me and read it, it would mean a lot to me Smile )
Spoiler:
After the first aneurysm, she was in a coma for three days. She got out of the coma, but stayed in the hospital for three more weeks. After she got out, she was constantly being monitored by the doctors. I saw her nearly a month after she was out. When I talked to her she was so weak. She tried to smile, but i could see she was still in a bunch of pain. It broke my heart Sad About another week later, she had another aneurysm. Back to the hospital she went. More of the same treatment, but this time no coma, and the stay only lasted about a week. Right as she was about to get out, she had a seizure out of nowhere. So they monitored her for a few more days. She kept having seizures. Obviously the aneurysm had done something to her nerve system that is causing them.

During her first stay, they removed a piece of her skull about the size of your palm. She had to wear a helmet whenever she went out. To see one of your closest friends in pain, and living in misery is torture. I can’t even put into words what I felt. She had more and more hospital visits. In September she had a big operation in her neck. It was to rearrange a cluster of veins that were supposedly causing her seizures. So after the operation, and another few days in the hospital she was finally out. To everyone’s shock and surprise, she had another seizure only a few days later. The operation did little to nothing…

Now living on constant anti seizure medication, her living hell was becoming a routine. Every week, a visit to the hospital for an intensive checkup. October came. No seizures for about three months. Everything has finally calmed down for once. She was now going to have her final operation, and everything would be good at last. The final operation: To put her skull back in place.

While having her skull out of her head for nearly six months, her brain had actually moved In her head, it adapted to the change of her skull. So in the operation they had to carefully maneuver it back to its original place to keep from causing more pain. The operation was a success. The doctors said she would recover in two weeks, and within four days- as normal, she was back to herself. Once again she recovered faster than anyone had expected. Suddenly, tragedy hit again…

The piece that they pit back in her head got infected. They had to remove it. They removed it in November. They told her they had to do more tests and find the proper substitute skull to put in. Months whent by, and test after test. In March she had a CT Scan, then got her final surgery dates. One a week before the final one, to make sure everything is good, then the final surgery; putting the artificial skull piece in. That operation went smoothly, and as usual, she was back to normal self really fast.

This past year has been a living hell for Chloe. She always thanks the support that everyone has given her. I talk to her at least every other day now because of it. She has gone through so much, most people never go through anything close to what she has gone through. I have rambled on for too long now, I hope you all took the time to read this. Remember, Life is Fragile, love the people around you. At any given moment, your life can change forever.

Great to hear she's doing great, again! Hope she is able to return to the track with a better helmet that she used to wear before the aneurysm!
