Money idea for next season

Before you go HURR THIS IS TOO HARD, you basically don't need to do anything, because after the races I will list what happened to what team and car, and how much money they lost in the race and how much they have in they're bank account money wise. Say if someone got heavy damage, destroyed car, motor etc. All you need to do is send a PM telling me what you will need to be replaced, and I will then update the amount in your account.

And as far as sponsors go, you don't need to be on the money for how much the sponsor makes in a year, its just kinda common sense, and I doubt many of you have any level 2 or 3 sponsors.. lol.

If you somehow suck so bad and go into debt, and can't recover it in a 2 race period, you will pay it off with points.

Also if it starts to affect field counts or other important things after 5 or so races, this sytem would most likely be dropped.

Start Money - $1,000,000
Car - $125,000
License - $2,500
Number - $2,000
Entry - $3,000

Cost Per Event

Tires - $18,000
General Car Upkeep - $25,000

Body Damage [Minimal - 5,000] [Medium - 15,000] [Heavy - 30,000]
Drivetrain [300 dollars per gear blown] [23,000 for complete drivetrain failure]
Engine [75,000]

Loans:
You may take out two 40,000 loans during the season.
You can only take your second loan 6 races after the first loan.

Sponsors:

You may have up to 5 primary sponsors in a season, everytime you add a sponsor, you will need to pay for it depending on the level system below:

[Level 1]
- Your sponsor makes 50mil a year or more.
- Must finish in the top 10 at least once every entered 3 races or sponsor drops them.
- Sponsor pays 200,000 a race.

[Level 2]
- Your sponsor makes 35mil a year.
- Must finish in the top 15 at least once every entered 4 races or sponsor drops them.
- Sponsor pays 100,000 a race.

[Level 3]
- Your sponsor makes 15mil a year or less.
- Must finish in the top 25 at least once every 4 races or sponsor drops them.
- Sponsor pays 50,000 a race.

figured that, its just annoying when we have a fun new idea and people dont bother to read into it and just go on first impulse, "UGHGH THIS IS TOO COMPLICATED" and then dont bother to tell why they think its a bad idea. I hope we don't end up losing some people because of this, if people really cared about our league they would race no matter what

Oh I know lol. The last few ideas everyone came up with we had some naysayers. (Including me for a couple of them) but this one seems legitimately fun and new. And we are desperate for something new right now lol.

The only thing I disagree with is having to finish in the top 10, 15, etc. We normally don't have huge fields, so that's not gonna be hard. We should make it a little tougher or try to get a bunch of people here.

I just don't want to invite a bunch of nooby morons around here. Maybe we don't get 20+ car fields anymore but I like our 10 people fields usually. We have much better racing and most of the time we have competitive racers that show up. I mean we had 10 people show up at Pocono for the Cup 90 race and had 15 lead changes at Pocono, only two cautions and a shit load of 3 wide racing. I'd rather have 10-15 people and good racing then to have 20 people and shit racing because of idiot noobs from places like SRD ruining the fun for everyone. So I hope were careful on who we invite over here...

I thought about that, its just something that I don't see needing to be as strict as I would like it to be, because it would suck to get constantly wrecked out of the top 5 for 3 races in a row and lose a paint scheme. lol

And yeah, I'm not too worried about different people racing here, but they will not be allowed to race proline right off the bat, I just would like them, to run 2-3 races in the other series before proline, and we would let them test with us in practice before a proline race to approve them to run. But ATM, this series is getting constant 15 car fields usually. And the usual 20 at daytona and dega lol, so were pretty good.

The only thing I see that bothers me is the price for medium damage, should be down somewhere near halfway between low and high, but I like it so far.

Seems like it is worth a good try.

there was only like 3 people on at the time so the word didnt get out to everyone

I love this idea.
While I was banned, I actually rigged up a whole system for expenses and income like this.
I'm fairly sure I thought of everything, but the numbers would probably be more accurate if someone who works in Nascar could make them more realistic. Also, its just too much work to do the math.
Whatever, the point is, I approve of this idea.
