We are back for season 4 after our driver, the #2 of Jake Poulin took home the championship for the first time with our team in the Proline series, and we hope to display the same performance again this season along with two new drivers, the #19 of Jordan Robson and the #7 of Johnathan Taylor. We hope we can get all of our drivers into the chase this season and be able to get another championship. Should be a great season.

Robson makes full time move to Solstice Racing

For the first time since the Aerowar Retro Series Jordan Robson will be racing for another team. Robson makes the fulltime switch from his own team, JR Motorsports to Solstice Racing. Robson has had success racing for his own team. Winning races and winning the Championship in season 2 of the Proline COT Cup Series. However it is time for a new challenge he says..

"Its just time for something new. The past few years I've ran for my own team and had fun doing so. However I just felt I needed a new challenge and something new to tackle. I had offers from other teams but felt joining Caleb's team would be the best fit. Myself, Jake and Caleb have all proved we can work good together as seen in the Season ending race in Atlanta. Me and Caleb race as hard as anyone out there and I can guarantee you that won't change. We will just be racing under the same banner from now on. I look forward to next season in hopes of winning a 2nd Proline Championship."

Robson will not only run for Solstice Racing in just the COT series, he will be joining the team for the Nationwide series as well. Rumors are floating around that JR Motorsports as a whole may be in jeopardy of shutting down. And Robson said that is just fine with him.

"I think it may be time to close up shop. We've had a great stint. Won many races and won Championships in every league we've ran in. I've helped mentor drivers from being field fillers to being front runners week in and week out. However we have one more thing to go accomplish and its that Retro Series Championship! What better way for the team to go out then by winning the Retro Series Title."

Robson 3 for 3 thus far in first season with Solstice Racing.

In his first 3 races with his new team Jordan Robson has come out of the box on fire.. In his debut with the team in the Proline Shootout Robson came home with the victory by a half car length over Matt Emerson. It was Robsons first win at Daytona since season 4 of CRI when Robson won the Daytona 500 by mere inches. In the first points paying event of the season Robson qualified on the outside front row for the Daytona 300 and would be a contender all race long. With 7 laps to go he and the #82 of Shawn Taylor made a charge to the front. They went from the back to the front multiple times in the race showing their strength. Both the 19 and 82 were on the outside line and had a huge run on race leader Adam Codol. Robson had a hole on the bottom and knew that this was his only chance to win the race. Reluctantly he hung the 82 out to dry but it would prove to be the winning move of the race as he would claim his first career Solstice Daytona 300. Robson had this to say about the victory.

"It was a huge win for me and the team. To come out of the box and dominate Speedweeks was huge. I've never been a great Superspeedway racer, never had much luck but I guess making the switch from JRM to Solstice was the luck I needed. It sucked that I had to leave the 82 out to dry like I did but it was so hard to pass the leader in the 300 that I had one chance and once chance only and I had to take it. Luckily it worked out for us."

Robson also took home the seasons 2nd race at the newly reconfigured Phoenix International Speedway. The #19 K&N chevy would sit on the pole for the race and led the first 6 laps until he got loose off turn #4 and allowed the #33 of Adam Codol to go by. Both Codol and Robson would brawl all race long as they both easily had the best cars in the race. In the end Robson would come home with his 3rd straight victory. Team mate Caleb Paul came home 2nd. The two would celebrate on the frontstretch after another huge week for the team.

"I think I should of made this switch a long time ago. 3 races with the new team and 3 wins. Pretty awesome stuff. To have a 1-2 finish at Phoenix was incredible. I didn't expect to be that fast with this new configuration but with a great car and team all I had to do was hold a pretty wheel. I can't wait for the Glen next week."

Robson wins 3rd race of the year at New Hampshire
Loudon, New Hampshire

Jordan Robson won his 3rd race of the Solstice Proline season last night at New Hampshire. A huge boost of confidence coming off the race at Kentucky Speedway. Heading into this event Robson had a 29 point lead over the field and had hopes of expanding the lead. And he did. The #19 K&N Chevy qualified on the outside front row once again. It did not take him long to grab the lead as on lap #2 he would pass his own car (JR Motorsports/David Krikorian) and lead the next 9 laps. The race lead was swapped many times between Robson and David Krikorian as they both proved to be the dominant cars of the day. But in the end Robson was able to conqur the magic mile and take home his 4th win of the season (3rd points win). Solstice Racing has now won 5 of 6 races in all this season. Robson had this to say after the victory.

"Coming in to Loudon I did not expect to be much of a contender. But all year long we've gone to tracks and been contenders, with the exception of Kentucky. So I really didn't expect nothing less from our team. After last weeks roller coaster of a race this was a huge shot in the arm for our team. Even with the issues we had in Kentucky I feel like we should of came out of there with the victory. We had fresher tires then anyone on that last restart but wasn't able to come home with the victory. I made a premature move for the win and it cost us the race. That one will be stuck in my memory bank for a while. Honestly I feel we should be 5 for 5 this season. Watkins Glen went alright for us we led the first 3 laps and spun out coming to the caution and was an up hill battle from there. We were able to work our way back up to the top 3 towards the end of the race but after a missed call from an official it pretty much took us out of any contention to win the race. However we still salvaged a top 3 finish and we have proved we are one of the teams to beat this season."

Robson also commented on team owner Caleb Paul's decision to step away from Racing for the time being.

"Well we had a big team meeting on Monday and Caleb told us what was going on. Its been a rough few months for him and we all totally understand where he was coming from. He said he would still be around for the most part and come to the shop every weekend but he will not be out there racing each and every week until he feels he is ready to do so. One thing is for sure this team will not back down by any means. Myself, Jake and Wetz are ready to hold down the fort for the time being."

Robson goes back to back at Trois Rivieres and signs Rheem as new full time sponsor of the #19 Chevy

Jordan Robson won his 2nd Proline COT race in a row last week at Three Rivers.. And his 4th race of the season. He won the event by about a foot over former CRI racing team mate Brandon Lambert. The team has also announced that Rheem has come on board to share the rest of the races with Budweiser, K&N and Tapout as a primary sponsor. Robson had this to say on the victory and the signing of Rheem.

"It was a great race, Trois Rivieres is one of the most exciting road course races you'll ever see and we put on a show last Thursday. We weren't a winning car but we were definitely a top 3 car. We had a rough start to the event being turned around by Brian Wallace but we didn't panic and we kept at it and was able to win the race by about a foot. This team is on a roll right now. I can't wait for Bristol. Bristol will feature yet another new paint scheme as Rheem has jumped on board with us for the rest of the season. Rheem has been an associate sponsor on our cars but they made the decision to move up to a primary roll and we are very thankful for them doing so."

Robson wins 3 in a row as Solstice Racing gets 1-2-3 finish at Bristol

Jordan Robson won his 3rd Proline COT race in a row Thursday, Robson qualified 7th on the night. His worst starting position of the year. After a rough practice session he decided to switch to team mate Chris Wetz setup and it proved to be a great move as Robson would lead the most laps on the night en route to his 3rd straight victory and 5th of the season. Counting the Budweiser Shootout at Daytona, Robson has won 6 of the 8 races run this season. And Solstice Racing as a whole has won 7 of 8. This was the 2nd 1-2-3 finish of the season for SRL and it couldn't of come at a better place says Robson.

"This was a huge victory for our entire organization. To have yet another 1-2-3 finish on the season is absolutely an accomplishment. I guess when your hot your hot and this entire team sure is. We had a rough practice session tonight but our team mate Chris Wetz was nice enough to loan us his setup and after a few adjustments it was a rocket ship. Though we started 7th we made our way up into the top 3 within the first 10 laps and proved to be a contender the rest of the night. It came down to a 20 lap shootout with Chris and I wouldn't of had it any other way. We had a great battle to the finish but this #19 Team Chevy car was able to take home the win. This has been a dream season no doubt."

Robson wins 4 in a row at Pikes Peak

Jordan Robson has won his 4th Proline COT race in a row last night at Pikes Peak. But it was not all fun and games this time. Robson qualified 10th of 12 and had an uphill battle for a good portion of the race. Right at the start of the race the #19 Rheem Chevy blew 2nd gear and suffered majorly on restarts but it didn't take long for more trouble to strike as Shawn Taylor would spin out directly in front of Robson and cause the first caution of the race. He would be involved in several incidents through out the event. With 2nd gear being gone Robson suffered on restarts. It didn't take long for him to get up to speed and make up some ground however.

Later in the race on Robson was still struggling but was inside the top 5 when his right front tire blew out on lap 39 after a long green flag run. The caution did not come out and he would go 2 laps down. Luckily a caution came out not long after his incident and he was able to get the lucky dog. It took him 15 laps but he would eventually get both of his laps back. With 10 laps to go Robson restarted in 9th position but made move after move and got his way up to 3rd with 5 laps left. Robson was chasing down Ian Hann for 2nd place and as he made the pass the caution came out with 3 laps left. The leader Shawn Taylor decided to come down pit road and Robson did not. He would be the leader on the restart. With 2nd gear gone Robson did not think he would be able to hold on for the win but he did and took home his 6th win of the season. It was a rough but very satisfying victory he said.

"It was a very rough night for our #19 Rheem Chevy. This race reminded me alot of our Kentucky race. We blew gears, blew tires and went down two laps but some how prevailed to come out with our 4th victory in a row. This team just never ever quits. We were horrible at Kentucky and still nearly came away with a victory and we weren't all that great in Pikes Peak but we got the job done. I am very proud of this race team. To have an 80+ points lead 8 races into the season is pretty astounding. I can't wait for Texas!"

Solstice Racing has now won 7 of the 8 races run this season.

Robson celebrates his 6th win of the season.

Robson streak ends at 4 but grabs 2nd place finish in Texas

Jordan Robson did not continue his win streak Thursday night in Texas. However he did come away with yet another podium finish. This may have been one of the rougher nights Robson and the 19 team have seen this year. They blew a motor on the first lap of practice and did not get any practice time and was unable to qualify. Robson started dead last and on the very first lap was put into the inside wall causing moderate damage to the left front and rear to the race car. However the Championship leader and team did not give up. They fought back and got yet another top 3 finish. Solstice driver Chris Wetz was credited with the victory as Auz Grams took the #71 Solstice Racing chevy to victory lane. Solstice Racing has technically now won 8 of 9 events on the season. An astonishing record for the team. Robson had this to say after Texas...

Well to come outta here with a 2nd place finish I probably couldn't be more satisfied. We got off to a horrible start blowing the motor on the very first lap of practice. We were forced to start in the back with zero track time. And of course on the first lap we were put in the wall. I honestly didn't have high hopes of contending for the win after that went down. The 57 went balls deep into turn 1 and got loose off of turn 2. Forcing my team mate Jake Poulin to slow down and I went to the inside to avoid what would of certainly been a big wreck. We tore the car up pretty good but never gave up. This entire team never gives up. We fought back for a 2nd place finish, hell one more lap and we would of won the race. I am extremely excited for Richmond next week. That race has been circled on my calender since last season. We've dominated the last 3 Proline Richmond races and never once been able to cap off a Victory. We've had the lead on the final restart of the race for 2 of those 3 races and still found a way to lose. But this year I've got a new team and car. If we can get the job done in Richmond I'll be the happiest I've ever been to win a race.

Robson is now currently locked in to the chase.

Robson finally gets it done at Richmond

It may have taken Jordan Robson 3 season to get it done.. But at last he is a winner at the Richmond International Speedway in the Proline Cup series. Robson had Richmond circled on his calender for the entire season. He had this to say about the victory..

"We finally got it done. The past 3 races we've had there we have led a bunch of laps and hadn't got the job done. Its like we just weren't meant to win at the place. But this season has been a dream for our team. We won Daytona, won a bunch of big races. But this, to me was the biggest one of them all. Richmond has always been good to me in other series. Won races in Trucks, Nationwide, even won a few Cup races there in other leagues but for the most part we have been snake bit in the Cup races at the track. I remember racing LNR at Richmond many times. One of the races we ran was on the night of the 8th year since the September 11 attacks we were there racing. I started up front, led a bunch of laps and with about 40 laps to go we got spun out while leading. Dropped all the way back to like 15th or something.. We drove our way up into the top 5 with about 25 laps left and got a speeding penalty on pit road during green flag pit stops.. We went down a lap with 15 laps left in the race. I thought we were all but done, but we weren't. A late race caution gave us the lucky dog and we went from 16th to the lead with 10 laps to go and we ended up winning the race. That is a race I will never forget. We had everyone and everything seeming to try to keep us from winning that race but we still found a way. However the next two seasons I raced at the track in LNR we dominated them both. And lost it in the last turn of the last lap in both by being punted.. Its either win, or be wrecked for me at that race track. I am just extremely happy to finally pull it off here at Solstice. To me this is probably the biggest win I've ever had here. It has been a great season for us with out a doubt."

Robson wins another, has won 6 of last 7 races

Jordan Robson won his 8th Proline race of the season at Darlington on Thursday night. The #19 Rheem chevy qualified 4th on the night. Though he tied for the most laps led (30) Thursday he did not have the dominant car. Robson credited the victory with luck and a little pit strategy.

"Well we had a little help with this one. The car was alright. I thought we had a much better car because through out practice we ran as fast as anyone. Come race time it just seemed the car had changed. I mean, we still were in the top 3 for the that first run or two but after that our car turned to junk. We were racing for 3rd about 16 laps into that 3rd run of the race and it just suddenly dropped off. Hell we fell all the way back to 8th and smacked the wall a few times. But just like last week when we got dumped racing for the lead we didn't panic. We made a trackbar adjustment and the car was alot faster on the short runs but still fell off a ton on the longer runs. At the end of the race we were leading with about 20 laps left and the thing turned to junk. So after the 82 and 68 got by us we decided to short pit thinking we could get away with one, and we did. It was a very satisfying win."

Robson wins 9th of season at Charlotte

Jordan Robson won his 9th Proline Cup of the season. This time coming at Charlotte. Where he has now won back to back at the 1.5 mile track. Robson extended his points lead from 11 to 23 in the chase with only two races left. The last two tracks in the chase favor Robson as Martinsville and Atlanta are two of Robsons best tracks. He had this to say on the big win in Charlottle.

"This was probably the most crucial win I've gotten. We needed this big time after the past two weeks. Just completely failing at Talladega and blowing a gear in Road America. This brought my confidence right back up and I feel like heading into Martinsville we have the edge for sure. I love that little track so we'll see what we can do come next week!"
