Somebody posted a video about this game on TBK. I checked it out and it's actually really cool.
What it basically is is a driving simulation, with extremely realistic crash physics called soft body physics which allows the cars to deform upon impact with any object. It's an open source game so it has a huge modding community. There's probably thousands of terrains and vehicles you can download for it. Best part, it's completely free.
And finally a video highlighting some of the crash and driving physics. Vehicle damages varies depending on the modder. Some cars you could slam into a concrete wall at 140 and not event dent it. Others it will crush to pieces. Just depends on who made the car
Now the driving physics are a little sketchy (I've only tried it with a keyboard, don't know if your wheel could work with it yet) but overall it's a pretty fun game to just mess around in.

The monster trucks in that game are hella fun, my momo works with it, along with my g27 before it died.

Yea, ROR is the best monster truck simulation out there to be honest, especially when it's always moddable.

Downloading a truck pack right now. Would be incredible if they could make a full Monster Jam game with these physics.

So I got everything setup now, but for some odd reason, my brake pedal axis is backwards... I have to press the brake down to release the brake...

If anybody needs help getting a wheel setup, I found this page with downloads for keymaps for just about every common wheel. There's one for Thrustmaster, Momo, GT Driving Force Pro, G25-27, Sidewinder, and a few gamepads. I think most of them you just replace the input.map file in your config folder Should be in MyDocuments/RigsofRods/Configs but double check the instructions with the on you are downloading just to be safe.

I'd be very interested in organizing a Monster Jam type event here. Im thinking we could do a wheelie competition, racing, tough truck competition, Freestyle.

I think it'd be really cool if we could get enough people interested in it.

Oh my god ive never seen this before, this looks like so much fun XD
Also, this would be a great game for game designers to learn and take information from it to make some good crash models for racing games and others like grand theft auto.

Quick question for you guys. How many of you guys are signed up on the Sim-Monsters site? I could help you all out anytime if you're looking for racing.

Speaking of Rigs of Rods, here's a logo I whipped up for a truck I'm going to be working on once I get home.
