Nick Baker returns to series at Bristol:
After a long time, Nick Baker returned to the Solstice Retro Series to race and had a great run. Nick Baker hadn't raced anywhere in over a month, but he returned with power as he set some fast laps in practice and qualifying. Baker qualified 2nd for the race behind Brian Wallace. Nick Baker had a great start and pulled the field around for about 5 laps before Josh Chin caught up and passed him. Nick Baker used a lot of pit strategy to lead quite a few laps all race. "The #9 Motorcraft Ford Thunderbird was awesome last night. I had a great run going, possibly a top 5 going until my car started acting weird towards the end allowing a few guys to pass me before the checkered flag. It was a very fun race and I'm glad I decided to return here, it was a great race and everyone was driving smart all night."
When asked if he was going to return full time, Baker replied: "I'm not quite sure yet, I might do that, or I might just run select races here and there, ones that I would have the best chances of winning based on my driving style. One race you will see me at will be the season finale at Atlanta. We had a great run in the first race there earlier this season. I haven't really looked at the schedule in a long time, so I will take a look and then decide what I will do later."
