Impressed with Vickers today, MWR is on it with their pick-ups it appears and they showed up ready to fight.

Great battle for the lead most of the day, top 2 didn't get strung out quite as much as they have the past few races, not always side by side, but a good battle for the lead most of the day!

Kasey Kahne took himself out again, with some help from Regan Smith and spotter communication. Racing deal for the most part, but Kahne should've stayed on the bottom there...

Said it on facebook the other day, said Reutimann will have a good run and he did! Had a good car and took it to a 21st finish.

he was 6th coming in and 6th coming out, he would have been the first car on the outside lane with tires, he wouldn't have gained anything if he stayed out, that was a good move.

Sucks JR had a good run ruined, but at least Brad won. Was a solid race but that crowd was pathetic as hell. Bruton Smith has outdone himself as usual!

Looks like Bristol might get changed after all, and if so, it will be announced next week if they will go back to the old configuration for the night race in August.

Would be incredible if they could get it reconfigured before the night race. People can finally stop complaining about new Bristol if they go through with this.

Agreed.

I like new Bristol, but I liked old Bristol better because it brought out the tempers, it brought out more bumping and banging. Martinsville has that similar way of racing now that I love watching.

new bristol has a lot more "battles" but nobody ever complained about the old track, races were always great there. 5 cautions in 500 laps is not bristol, the attendance shows

Yea, the more I think about it, Bristol, the way it used to be, was a race you absolutely HAD to see. You circled it on your calendar and were excited the whole year for it. Now it's just another race. It still produces great racing just in an entirely different sense than old Bristol.

My opinion is both are there own thing. I like the new Bristol and it is starting to grow on me a little bit. But i miss the old Bristol alot more! Only if we can get both side by side and bumpin and runnin. Just not this, =_=
