Test race

I was thinking it would be a good idea to do a non points event test race next week, just to see how things will play out in an iracing race for us. How does a race at Texas sound? I will be paying for the hosted sessions throughout the seasons

We'll start practice at 7:00 PM EST Wednesday Night, hopefully we get a good field and a good race!

I wouldn't expect a big field right away. If we get 5-6 people I'd be shocked but satisfied TBH.

I won't be there on Wednesday, leaving to Las Vegas/California.

I won't pay for the session if we don't have more than 6 people committed to race

I'll run it. I can probably get a few others to run as well.

make sure they sign up, new people are welcome as long as they aren't bad

On a side note, are we really going to start this next week?

this week is just a test, for fun, think of it as the shootout, no points yet

Test deal is fine but I really hope we don't start the season just yet. I'd wait at least another month to start it up. BTW I can help with any admining or help with paying for races and such for the seasons if needed.

if it's a test, i dont see why we need such a large field. its not like we're tweaking grip or something lol

if you guys do this race tonight, can we put the nr03 server up for testing for tomorrow?

it is just a test but doing a race with 4 people is kind of lame and pointless, if we get a bunch of people on that want to run tonight we'll run it.

That's almost three times the amount of people we would have gotten for a Pikes Peak Setup test session

half of them didn't even have NR03

all of those guys that were there left to go run the Class A race. when qualifying time came, only me and chin were in the server, the race didn't even run
