Auto Club 200k [67 Laps]

We will be doing testing around 5 PM the day of the race to get the grip settings right for cup, the default grip is very bad.

Already made a thread for this too derphead, forgot to sticky it though D:

Also doesn't help the other three races are still stickies.

Doesn't help that Jake doesn't look either

Grip settings

track_asphalt_grip = 1.12
track_concrete_grip = 1.17
track_paint_grip = 1.22

Gonna have no highline

we should spend 20 or so minutes tweaking with the grip TONIGHT with fixed setups to get it right before people start seriously working on them.

yes we should be able to do this if we don't do the iRacing race tonight, Lambert sent me some grip settings he thinks are good, we'll test it out tonight around 8

I wont be able to test at 8, going out and not sure when I'll be back.

Test session was great! Got the track perfect for the race tomorrow now. Me, Sherm, Baker, & Jake were all able to race side by side multiple laps. Really was awesome when me and Sherm were side by side for 3 laps. Neither one of us was able to pull out from each other. Sherm would get me off turn 4, and I will pull back around him out of turn 2. Really looking forward to tomorrow's race.

Can someone post the new grip settings?

track_asphalt_grip = 1.07
track_concrete_grip = 1.17
track_paint_grip = 1.15

Don't forget we're going to be testing early today so we can get the grip settings correct for the race, we need as many people as possible for this!

5 PM is when we will start.

Next week things go back to normal.

Yes we did, but that was with fixed fast setups. When we tested a little bit last night with open setups, it was decided that there needed to be more tweaking to the track, hence, an extended practice tonight.

Good race. Sucked that only the high line worked tonight. Hate that it wasn't like last night in testing. But anyways, sorry Brian!!! Spotter said I was clear and then I move up and it said car high and I was like NO!!!! That's my bad bro!

3rd after battling a tight car, I'm happy.
