Because of the debris cautions or them penalizing Piquet for speeding. Both. Couldnt find any damn debris, and HOW THE FUCK DO YOU SPEED IN THE LAST SEGMENT WHEN YOU HAVE THE FIRST STALL AND YOU'VE BEEN DOING THE SAME THING ALL DAY??? What, throw in a 10 foot long segment to screw everyone up? Its by average time..No way he could have sped.

| Would be nice to see a replay of it to see how he did speed. Great race, sucks ass that Kahne won it though.. | |

| What's with all of the Kahne hate? It's not like he comes in, runs every truck race, dominates them, and goes on his merry way...
This'll probably be his only start this year tbh.
Two things to blame for the Piquet error, first off Piquet for allegedly speeding, second SPEED for taking the first pit stall for whatever reason.

| No ones really hating on him... Just personally don't like seeing a cup driver race in the trucks period. At least he doesn't race all the time I guess. On the Piquet thing, saw the one replay, he pretty much screwed himself on that one, if you blame NASCAR for that one you're a bit high.
But enough of that, time for the IndyCar race! Should be a fun one seeing all the top notch Chevy guys in the back, just hope Dario doesn't completely buzzkill up front.

Uh... what? Dario wasn't really at fault for that, he still gave him some room, that was mostly Newgarden's fault.

| Looked like a racing deal more than anything. Newgarden acted as if he was going to fall in line and at the last minute tried to take Dario on the outside. | |

| In other news, the new wheel guards have just been proved fucking useless. | |

| Well they were trying to stop the cars from just running into the back of each other and ramping off 85% of the time, can't do much when they hit from the side like that lol. Scary crash, glad everyone is alright.
The car shouldn't of flown like that though at that low of a speed...Good ol' Dallara.

| Well, that's the thing. He didn't hit from the side. He ran directly over the back of the wheel guard. | |

| From what I saw they touched front wheels and that made the rear pop up on to the wheel guard, I'm not sure though, I need to watch it a few more times. | |

| If the run goes green all the way, who looks to have the best strategy? I'm kinda lost on all of the strategies right now lol | |

| So IndyCar released this picture this morning stating this is where Marco hit Graham, which is why he got over his tire. | |

| Which I guess makes sense but still means wheel to wheel contact is possible even with the guards meant to prevent it. | |

| Cup & Nationwide: With FOX Sports in Brazil giving priority to a basketball champioship instead of passing both races LIVE, I just got the results and move on to the next weekend. Trucks: Piquet had the best run he had (along with Nashville last year) and screwed himself. First thing that came to my mind was Montoya and the pit penalty at Indy back in 2009. F1: Watched the re-run of the race. That was very exciting! Nice win by Rosberg. I expected a lot more from Kobayashi. Indycar: Watched it entirely. Newgarden screwed himself over there, but there was a little touch by Dario. Nothing that would change the outcome of that "pass". Barrichello showing that he's getting better and better with those cars. Finally Kannan finishes a race this season! Castroneves run a good race, and Will Power coming out of nowhere to win again.. I wanted Pagenaud to win it. And about that incident with Takuma and Ryan.. IMO, Takuma tried to hit the apex of the turn when Ryan had the nose of his car there already, it was a racing deal, and Ryan didn't deserve the penaly. My hope is that FOX Sports don't do the same thing next week around here. | |
