After seeing Brad K's Rusty Wallace tribute car he ran at Bristol, Sherm and I have decided it would be sweet to do a throwback paint scheme race which we would accordingly run at the Darlington race in a few weeks.

You can run any retro scheme you'd like or you don't have to run one at all. It would just be nice to get a retro themed pack running at Darlington.

Since I run the #28 Texaco Havoline car, I'll run a paint scheme similar to this:

Only the car will be on Cup12. If you would like to request a paint scheme feel free to do so, I'd be glad to paint it. If your sponsor doesn't necessarily fall into a retro theme, then trying picking a new secondary sponsor and run that as a primary for the weekend.

If you would like to request a scheme, post a link to the car picture you want done, what manufacturer, #, and if you have it, a PNG or PSD of your #. If you do not have it that is totally fine.

Remember, you do not HAVE to run a retro scheme, but the more the merrier.
