Race of Champions (12-14/16)

One of my favorite race events of the year is this weekend. The Race of Champions, this year it is in Bangkok, Thailand.


On Friday we have ROC Asia. Saturday at 8 AM EST we have the Nations Cup Event, on Sunday we have the individual RoC.

The hell are they doing in Bangkok this year?

They wanted somewhere new to go.

My grandma's from Thailand.. She has family that live in Bangkok.

Also got NASCAR Sprint Cup testing this week (might go if it doesn't rain out) and the first 2 rounds of the Winter Heat Series(i will be racing in it) at Charlotte.

Looks like the race at Orange Show this weekend might be a free stream!

Just happened a few hours ago in testing.

Ya know, that's going to be a real bitch if someone slaps the wall, got a lot more to fix this time.

The final 4 drivers for ROC Thailand have been announced:

-Sak Nana
-Tin Sritrai
-Nattavude Charoensukawattana
-Nattapon Horthongkum

There is another race this weekend. The Gulf 12 Hours of Abu Dhabi. The race begins Friday night at 11:30 PM central, 12:30 AM Eastern. The race is broken into 2 6-hour segments. The second segment starts 8 AM Eastern.

The pole sitter is the AF Waltrip Ferrari of Alex Popow, Pierre Kaffer, and Ryan Dalziel. One of 6 AF Corse Ferrari's entered.

There are 3 classes allowed in this race. GT3, GTX (GT4), and SC. SC are the prototypes.

Nattavude Charoensukhawatana has won ROC Thailand. Him and Tim Sritkrai will move to both ROC Asia and the individual race of champions sunday.

Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandok have won ROC Asia. They will move to ROC Nations Cup and RoC.

Had a really good day at Charlotte, finished 5th in the first feature after starting from dead last, had some problems in the second feature
