Season 8 Mod poll

I honestly don't see any 2013 mod being up by speedweeks, we'll use it if it's good but I'm not expecting anything. so once again none of us agree on what to use instead of a 2013 mod so we will let the people decide.

We still have time to wait until the end of the month at least to see if something happens. But none the less it doesn't hurt to start a poll early just in case.

I did hear that the Bullring is just painting for their 2013 Mod.

That aside, I did just release the 2013 templates for the Nws11 Mod. Only a few people were against that because "It's not 2013 cars" which is a dumb fucking reason. It has better frames than the other COT mods, and it's something we haven't done in a few seasons, so I'm all for it. I know a bunch of other guys wanted to as well, but we'll have to see. I cant control the other 3 people bitching about it

I agree with Chad, if no mod is released by the time we kick things off, we should just run the NWS Cup mod with his templates. People who are bitching and complaining about them being "not 2013 cars" are just plain stupid, and very ungrateful.

I vote the NWS11 with the 2013 templates. I have a 2013 that i made a while back of an Audi R8 2013. I rendered it today here it is. It's not the best and nothing fancy but could be used.

Btw the shading is there just doesnt show up for some reason with that blue color.

I am ok with both NWS11_Cup and Cup12s if no mod is out by the start of S8. I think the NWS11_Cup with the 2013 templates(and maybe some fictional stuff too for maybe a example of a Honda or some random stuff ) would be really cool!

Even though I agree about using the NWS11 mod there is no reason to be calling somebody elses opinion on doing it stupid or dumb either. But on the otherside there was also no need to completely shun it away either because it wouldn't be the 2013 models.

Chad did a great job with the templates, but I just don't like the NWS_11 mod in general. even if we were doing a nationwide series I would be against it, and it also seems like every league and their mother runs the NWS11 Mod. Just my $.02 though.

But no seriously, BR13 before anything, and I'm pretty sure Chad's right about them being done, they're just doing paints. But in the worst case scenario, SS.net mod definitely.

It's what I've heard from a few sources.

aside from the mod, would anybody be up for some daytona testing? there's a few things we want to try for speedweeks. I'd like to try out cup with CTS as well as the chassis 0 settings we ran last year for cup physics. I'd also like to try out a few other tracks, I'd suggest we run SDT 2012 or Revamped 2010 like we did last year daytona DMP is great for chassis 1 but we've had great racing on these tracks that have a lot better graphics. When we ran daytona Revamped 2010 last season with Chassis 0 that was probably the most fun I've ever had in a superspeedway race. But I'd like to try a bunch of things and see what people like the most.

I'd Also like to try the settings we have for the Dash race with a bigger pack.

I wouldn't mind trying revamped 2010 with chassis 0.

I honestly see no point in running the SS.net COT mod, it's old and practically useless now.

I like the 2013 NWS stuff, but throw in the current NWS stuff for the people who don't like it.

If not, keep with what we've been using, make it easier on the people who can't go out and make cars for another new mod we run.

Honestly I'd just rather run the DMR12 mod for another season, but I have to agree with Baker on the BR2010W or whatever. It's pointless to go back to something that old. I'd liked S7 b/c it was just a "fun" season. But if I had to choose between the old Winged mod and the NWS11 mod, I'd choose NWS11...

We're racing something old right now? The SS.net mod is legendary and there is no reason why we should choose anything else over it except for the new 2013 mod.

if anyone has the daytona revamped 2010 we ran for the 500k last year please upload it.

There are plenty of reasons why we should, which is why we have this poll right now. By looking at the poll it seems like both ideas are heavily favored.

From the looks of it, we need to redo the poll and just have the NWS11 mod & BR2010W mod put up there...
