| Mikosz Takes Win, Black With Rough Finish:
Thursday evening at Daytona, Stephen Black would roll off the grid in 7th. He would stick to the front for most of the race, until green flag pit stops caused him to hit the pit entrance cone and the driver of the #23, Jordan Hyland. Black would fall a lap down to 29th, but thanks to a timely caution, was able to get back onto the lead lap. Black would recover, once again heading to the front. He would decide to ride in 9th position in the later part of the race. On the last lap, Caleb Paul and Ryan Williams got together, causing a massive wreck down the front stretch. Black was turned by Michael DesRoaches in the #55 and barrel-rolled down the apron before coming to rest in the turn 1 grass. He would finish a disappointing 17th. Black had this to say, "Well, we started up front and kept it up in the mix for most of the night. I apologize to Jordan Hyland for getting tangled up with him on pit road, because I was not told in time to pit. We dodged most of the big wrecks, but the last one really screwed up our night. Congratulations go out to Chad for winning the race, as well. I'm glad Daytona is over with and ready to move on to North Carolina next week."
Black's Paint Scheme Schedule: Rockingham - Degree Las Vegas - Goody's Bristol - Copenhagen Gotzenbergring - Degree Indianapolis - Goody's Pocono - Copenhagen Gateway - Degree Auto Club - Goody's Richmond - Copenhagen Darlington - Degree Talladega - Goody's Trois Rivieres - Copenhagen Homestead - Degree Martinsville - Goody's Atlanta - Copenhagen

| Mikosz Wins His 8th Daytona 500
Chad Mikosz wins his 8th Daytona 500 tonight in Solstice's Pro-Line Cup Series!!! Mikosz took the lead with 20 laps to go, and led a race high of 22 laps! "I'm so proud of my team and crew tonight. The guys in the pits were amazing, getting me out in front all night. Gotta thank Caleb Paul for helping me get to the lead after the last restart. Sucks he got wrecked there at the end. Jeffrey, Nick, and Stephen did a hell of a job pushing all night as well. Just gotta thank all my sponsors, adidas, AMP Energy, Mountain Dew, National Guard, and everyone else who' pays the bills. So grateful to have won 8 Daytona 500's. Thanks again to everyone at Solstice Racing. We have the best league around by far."
As a result of a last lap accident, Jeffrey Stanton finished 14th, Stephen Black 17th, and Nick Kahrs 18th. All 4 drivers were in the top 10 all night, but couldn't avoid last lap mayhem. A great outing for BIG EVIL Racing. As they head off to Rockingham next week, we may see the return of a Pro-Line champion....Jordan Robson! _________________ Solstice Stats: 12 Wins: Bud Shootout, Randy's Duel, SRL Daytona 500 (3 times), Winston 500 at Talladega, SRL Retro IROC Series at Martinsville, Riverside Park 100, Budweiser 100 @ Gateway, Indycar at Chicagoland, Florida Orange Juice @ Homestead, Pocono Mountains 100 @ Pocono

| Black 3rd; BIG EVIL Racing Places Two Cars In Top 5
Thursday night at The Rock, BIG EVIL Racing driver, Stephen Black, would come out looking for a rebound after a disappointing Daytona. Black, who was a little behind in the practice, qualifying, and Happy Hour sessions, would run consistently in the top 10 for most of the race. He would avoid the big wrecks, and come close to spinning off the wall after going into turn one with Caleb Paul and Ryan Williams. Black would climb up to the top 5 and would remain in place, ultimately leading to a 3rd place finish. Black said this in his post-race interview, "Well, we had a good car. Just want to thank the guys at the BER shop for giving us this great piece. I wasn't really expecting a top 5 after the practice sessions, but we just kept digging and we earned this one. Big props to Chad for sticking in the race even with big rear end damage and getting himself a top 5. Just want to thank Degree for coming on as a primary sponsor and my other sponsors, Copenhagen and Goody's."

| Menard's and Muscle Milk Sign On To BER
After Stephen Black's top 5 finish at Rockingham, Menard's and Muscle Milk have decided to sign as primary and associate sponsors. Black had this to say about the sponsorship, "We're glad to have these two come on board. Menard's will still sponsor Spencer Rearick in the races that he runs. They just wanted to have more time out on the track. Their car will replace the Goody's car, as they just want to focus on sponsoring my teammate, Jeffrey Stanton. The Muscle Milk car will replace the chrome Copenhagen car we ran for most of Speedweeks. Copenhagen and Degree will remain primary sponsors."
Black's Updated Paint Scheme Schedule:
Las Vegas - Menard's Bristol - Copenhagen Gotzenbergring - Muscle Milk Indianapolis - Degree Pocono - Copenhagen Gateway - Muscle Milk Auto Club - Degree Richmond - Menard's Darlington - Muscle Milk Talladega - Copenhagen Trois Rivieres - Degree Homestead - Muscle Milk Martinsville - Menard's Atlanta - Copenhagen

| Jordan Robson returns to Racing after long hiatus
Jordan Robson has signed a contract with Big Evil Racing for the 2013 Season. It will include Part Time Races in both the Proline Cup Series and the Solstice Hobby Stock Divisions. Robson will drive his familiar #19 and will bring along long time sponsors K&N Air Filters and Rheem. No word on a 3rd sponsor yet. Robson, a 4 time Solstice Series Champion (Including 2 Proline Cup Titles) will make his return next Thursday Night. Robson has high expectations for his return to Racing next week, but will bring a new attitude for his return.
"Alot has changed since my last race here at Solstice. I took some time off to spend with my family. It was the best thing I could have done. My Grandparents were both terminally ill and spending those last few months with them meant the world to me. Growing up without my Father in the picture I spent nearly every day of my life with them. My Grandpa was my Dad in many instances. And my Grandmother was my best friend. They both meant the world to me and it has been very tough without them. Whenever I had a problem that was bugging me I could always go to them and they would do their best to help me. Weather I was upset, sad or just irritated about everything they were they're for me. They were my support system. They made me who I am today. Things may not be too great for me right now but I can tell you for certain without my Grandparents in my life I would be in an even worse situation. Whatever I do for the rest of my life, everything will always be for them and in memory of them. Whatever I do I just want to make them proud. Thats all I ever wanted to do."
Robson said a big reason why he is returning to Online Racing is to hopefully relieve from the stresses in life, he plans to have a whole new attitude and outlook while racing as well.
"After taking a look at myself and after everything that has gone on in my personal life it has made me take a step back. It's made me realize what Racing and the people at Solstice mean to me. Towards the end I took things foregranted, I took alot of my true friends foregranted as well. All I wanted to do was win win win and it didn't matter how. With everything that was going on it ended up spilling into my Racing and I believe it effected my personality and my racing. Looking back I was just spoiled. This should have taken stress away from my life and all it did was add too it. And I was a big reason for that. This time around I am just going to have fun with it. Just have fun with it. Win or Lose thats all I need to be here for. I don't have alot going for me anymore so the least I can do is just to have more fun, be more relaxed and just enjoy it for what its worth. And I plan to do so.
I would like to thank Chad for bringing me on here at BER. Chad is a great racer and an even better guy. Hes been in my shoes before with having personal issues go on. I think he knows as much as anyone how much losing a loved one can effect you. Me and Chad have raced for many years and have always had great battles along the way. After I announced my return he was the first guy who stepped up and asked me to drive for him. I've also got my old buddy Stephen Black on the team as well. We go way back to the MTM2 days. Stephen raced for me for quite a while over at JRM. He won a few races for me so I know he is a capable driver. It'll be great having him as a team mate again. The main thing is returning with Chevy of course and K&N. K&N has been a sponsor of mine for over 5 years now and together we have won many of championships and races. Y'know I don't know if we will just hop right back in where we left off but I do expect to have some great runs this season and maybe picking up a few wins along the way. I know K&N and Rheem both expect me to win so there is some pressure here but I think they know I'm out here just to have fun again."

| BER Fires Shop Maid ConsuelaBIG EVIL Racing has fired their shop maid, Consuela. Stephen Black went to team owner Chad Mikosz, and told him that Consuela had requested more Lemon Pledge after only 2 hours of cleaning. Black said this, "I have been watching her. She's been drinking the Pledge, and only using half of it to clean the shop. We've also noticed that she's been throwing important team papers away and shredding Steve Rada's pornography collection. We cannot continue to support this nuisance. It is a waste of money to keep her around." Chad Mikosz agreed to the firing, although he could not be reached for comment. | |

| BER with Somewhat Strong Showing at Bristol
Thursday night at Bristol, Stephen Black would roll off the starting grid in 6th and Chad Mikosz in 8th with Jeffrey Stanton further back in the field. Black and Mikosz would work up into the top 5 until the first caution caused Black to slide to the bottom half of the field after a slow pit stop. Mikosz, however would stay in the top 5 for much of the race. Jeffrey Stanton's engine would succumb after about a quarter of the race. Black would work his way up, mostly running in 6th and peaking into 4th at one point during the race. Chad Mikosz would get turned in one of the tight turns of the fast half mile and hit the wall, but was able to continue. A few laps later, Black would get into the back of Jack Stroski sending them both spinning. Black would be forced to the end of the longest line, but would fight his way back up towards the top 5. Several laps later, Aaron Johnson would slide up the track, into the wall, and back down into Stephen heading down the backstretch. Black would spin and hit the wall head on, causing engine problems for the 98. Black would stick around the bottom half of the top 10 after that. A wreck on the front stretch with around 6 to go would see Black getting tangled up with Brent McCaleb, Nick Baker, and Keith Sherman. Once again, causing more engine damage for the 98. Black would finish out the race in 10th, with teammate Chad Mikosz taking another top 5 for BIG EVIL Racing. Black had this to say post-race, "Well, we had a decent car here. Didn't expect to win. Maybe finish where we qualified at in 6th. We managed to hang around the front half of the pack for most of the night, but we just got caught up in so many messes at the end. Next week is going to be tough on me, but we'll pack up and try to salvage something at Gotzenberg." Black sits 10th in points. Mikosz 2nd.

| Chad Mikosz with Disappointing Finish; Black with Possible Top 5; Stanton with Top 10
Thursday night, the drivers of the Solstice Racing Proline Series crossed the Atlantic to do battle at Gotzenburg. Stephen Black would qualify 7th with Chad Mikosz in 5th and Jeffery Stanton not taking a time. Black would run in the top 10, causing a few mistakes here and there on the tricky road course. Mikosz would run well in the top 5, until a blown gear would cause him to falter a bit. This ultimately led to a blown engine for the 25. Black and Stanton would duke it out for the 7th position towards the end of the race. On the last restart, on the second to last turn, Nick Baker and Jeffery Stanton would get together and hit the tires. Stanton would then get turned by Josh Chin. The race would continue on, and Black would take 5th, until hitting an invisible wall caused him to lose the spot to the 93. Black crossed the line in 6th, but administrator, Caleb Paul, determined that Chin would lose positions for spinning the 61. Thus leading to another possible top 5 for the 98. Black had this to say, "We came out not expecting anything big here, as I am pretty horrible at road courses. Surprisingly, I was able to keep up in the top 10 and have some fun battling for position with my teammate, Jeffery Stanton. It sucks to see Chad go down to a blown engine, I know he was really wanting to change his luck at road courses. Also sucks seeing Stanton have such a good run going just to have it all fade away at the end. Just want to thank Muscle Milk for coming on board tonight. Still looking on getting a win sooner or later, but we'll go out to Indy next week and see if we can't put something together."

| Erdmann not being able to make it to Auto Club
Cody Erdmann was planned to run Auto Club Speedway as his return event to Solstice Proline but this was shut down by not being able to have the car 100% complete in time. So in this case Cody is looking to make his return next week at Richmond where he feels his best type of tracks are short tracks.

| Black Absent From Race at Auto Club
Stephen Black missed yet another race. We interviewed him to see why this was. "Well, I'm more focused on other things right now. I have less than 2 months before I ship off to Oklahoma for Army Basic Training. It's all bearing down on me now and I just feel like I need some off time to prepare myself for the tasks at hand."
