And now that I've chilled out a bit, I'll revise that. I still think it was 50/50. Logano drove up into Hamlin's door. But they both kept it straight. Hamlin was of course, never going to lift. They were coming to the checkers, you don't lift coming to the checkers, especially when you still think the win is there. He got out of the groove and lost control. He still could have saved the car, but he wasn't thinking about that. He was thinking about winning. Ultimately I still think Hamlin could have maintained complete control and finished in 3rd. Exactly the same way I think Logano should have been able to hang onto his car at Bristol. | |
