| Shame and disappointment in the Sherm Motors IROC racing shop after Road America.Driver/Owner Keith Sherman had a vicious crash at the end of the Moraine Sweep at Road America. He walked away uninjured but was complaining of a pain in his side. His car however, was not so lucky. Had an attention lapse in like the heaviest braking zone there going into turn 5 and was still full throttle halfway through the braking zone. I could've thrown it sideways into the sand trap, but that would've meant death and destruction for Jake Ace. Decided to just put it off to the side and hope for the best. Ended up nearly head on into the tire barriers at 100 plus. Just no way that car was coming back. I'm a little sore but nothing that will keep me out of the race car. Just not a good start to the season at all for us.This incident coming on the heels of a sub par performance at Daytona. | |
