LMP1 is exploding right now, with a new entry confirmed for 2014. Dome has confirmed they will be building a customer car called the Dome S103, that can handle any LMP1 engine including the new "Flybrid" systems.

I think the USCR picked a bad time to ditch LMP1. Right now the WEC will have a huge entry list with cars from Perrinn, Dome, Lola/Multimatic, Porsche, Toyota, Audi. Possible entries coming from Honda. Lotus coming to LMP1 soon. Rumors of Nissan wanting in and more.

If it does get huge, I could see them allowing the LMP1's at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Petit LeMans etc.

Hearing Mike Conway will be racing this weekend for Dale Coyne Racing at Detroit in the #18.

So that didn't take long 0.o

Nice to see Smoke get the win. I really thing we will see Montoya win a race or 2 on a oval this year on a track like Dover or New Hampshire.
