2014/2015 Proline Team Championship (as of Iowa)

2014/2015 Season
This season in the Proline Team Championship, we will be trying a new format to score points, instead of counting the 2 best cars of each team. We will be doing each team's best average in each race. This will put stress on both single and multi-car teams to get the best finish as possible for their team in each race. With the Chase rules changing in Proline, I thought it would be a good time to switch up the team points a little bit as a test for Season 14/2015A.

Format Rules/Points System:
All cars would score points for the team.
Each driver/cars points for their team will be averaged and who has the best average would score the higher amount of points.
Events that have 2 or more feature races or qualifying races will be counted with all races having half points and half of the points scoring positions available.

Points System (regular races):
Pos. - Points
1. 50 points
2. 40 points
3. 30 points
4. 25 points
5. 20 points
6. 15 points
7. 10 points
8. 5 points
9. 1 points

Points System (2 or more Feature Races/Heat Races):
Pos - Points
1. 25 points
2. 15 points
3. 5 points
4. 1 points

Bonus Points:
Winning Driver - 5 pts
Most laps led by a team - 4 pts
Top single team car/independent driver - 3 pts
Lap led - 1 pts (most laps led team would not be eligible)

Penaltys:
Running 2 different manufacturers on the same team for a race - Loss of 1 point per driver that isn't running the same make as registered for their respected team.
If a driver was parked by the admins/race control for going over a wreck limit - Loss of 2 points per driver that was parked on said team
If a driver was parked by the admins for a intended accident - Loss of 5 points per driver that was parked on said team
Other penaltys will be assessed by the admins/moderators.

Updated the points system, just before the first race, somewhat based on current amount of teams registered (20 teams in total, 4 multi-car teams). Feature races will feature only 9 teams scoring points, and multiple feature races in 1 night/heat races will feature only 4 teams scoring points.
