| TOLEDO, Ohio - January 7, 2011) - Bobby Dale Earnhardt, the first grandson of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt, is scheduled to attend next week's ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards open test at Daytona International Speedway. The three-day event begins Tuesday, January 11. A son of four-time ARCA race winner Kerry Earnhardt, Bobby Dale Earnhardt made his start in lawnmower racing, and will begin his official transition into full-sized cars next week. Earnhardt, 23, lives in Rockingham, N.C. (Photo: Associated Press) Dakoda Armstrong, the 2010 ARCA Racing Series Rookie of the Year, will enter the test in the No. 22 Cunningham Motorsports Dodge. Armstrong won two races in the car last season, at Talladega Superspeedway in April and at Salem (Ind.) Speedway in September. Odd way of going from Lawn Mower racing to ARCA lol | |
