| Since I'm the NBA expert here, it sure seems like the owners and the players basically threw a way 10 days of possible time to get a season going. They didn't even change much since the last negotiation. | |

I'm talking about why they decided to agree to this deal now when they could have accepted the same offer basically on November 14th. | |

| Lakers and Hornets almost agreed to a trade which involves Houston as well.
Chris Paul was going to be shipped to LA in exchange for Lamar Odom and Paul Gasol. Gasol was then going to be traded to Houston.
Then the trade got cancelled because David Stern is against it. | |
