2011 Solstice Rulebook
1. Yellows
If you cause a caution you will get a EOLL by speeding down pit road 10+
mph faster then the actually speed. We do have a parking rule, If you
cause 2 cautions then you must park it. If you also wreck under caution
it will go towards your caution count.
When a caution comes out,
you are allowed to race back at ALL times. If you cause a wreck racing
back to the line, you will also get an EOLL and a count towards 2
cautions.
Also, NO screwing around under caution, yes it may get
boring, but screwing around can lead to wrecks, angry drivers, or longer
cautions.
2. Penalties
If you intentionally wreck another driver, you will be asked to leave or will
be ejected without waring and suspended for 1 race.
There will
be a yellow line rule this season for races at Superspeedways. On the last lap however, anything goes. If you wreck on the last lap for the win at Daytona or Talladega, you will get an EOLL penalty and whoever finished 2nd will get the win.
3. Restarts
We will not
have double file restarts in this series. You will be allowed to
pass someone on the outside, if possible. And you are also allowed to
pass someone if they're slow as heck on a restart or break a gear.
Superspeedways, however will have double file restarts. Passing on either side is illegal and will result in a pass through penalty. You must serve this penalty withing 2 laps or ejection will result.
NEW ON 4/20/11
If you get a run on the inside before the start/finish line but give it back, you won't receive a penalty. If you continue to hold the run going into turn 1, you will receive a drive through penalty.
4. Fighting/Wrecking
If you have a problem with a driver,
please hold your words till after the race, and speak with me about the
driver you have had a issue with. If you do have a outburst during the
race and or wreck the driver I'm ejecting your ass from the server. Same
with teamspeak. Also have respect for other drivers.
5. Race Chatter
As this is a rookie series, the only race chatter tolerable will be word during the race like "Going high" "Going low". Not everyone will be in Teamspeak, so your autochats should also be used in races. Talking under the cautions will be fine, but screaming and whining will not be allowed.
6. Driver ID Rules
You will be required to use your real name to race in this series.
This will be your driver name
for the whole season, I do not want to have to change your name in the
standings because you decided to change your name.
7. Car files, Pit crews, and Paint jobs
You must post your car in
the car files section before you race, unless its a in-game car.
3 digit numbers are allowed, you can also use a number such as 18x, but
if you do make sure your in-game car number is 180 or something along
the lines of that. No numbers are retired including the #3.
Please keep the paint jobs
and crews PG-13, I do not want to see any porn on the cars.
Please
make sure you have at least a number on both doors, and the roof.
8. Server Crash
If the server crashes or there is a mass
internet failure we will do the following:
If the race is passed
halfway and the exports/replay are recovered we will end the race there.
If it is not passed halfway, we will try to get the server back up
within a 10 minute window and resume the race. If we cannot get the
server back up and running, we will postpone the race to a later date.
9. Lap car rules
All lap cars will be asked to get an EOLL
by speeding down pit road 2nd time around under caution for your not in
the leaders way. If the leader is approaching you during the green,
please yield high to him. If you attempt to block him you might be black
flagged.
We do not have a lucky dog in this series.
10. Warping Rules
You must have a ping of 230 or below to
race in this series. if you do not have a stable connection and the
admin feels you maybe a problem racing around people, you will be asked
to park it. Unless you are able to fix it before race time.
If you start warping mid-race you will be asked to drop to the apron and to
the back of the pack
11. Team Rules and Sponsors
You
are allowed to have 4 full time drivers on a team, with a 5th team
that's only allowed to run half the season.
Sponsors are first
come first serve, and sponsors from season 2 will carry over. Only
primary sponsors count.
12. Pro Solstice Drivers
Most people who are Proline Series drivers will not be allowed to race in the ARCA Series except for the Superspeedways. They can, however be in the race server to coach the rookies and help out admining.
A few Proline drivers, however will be allowed to race this series. Keith Sherman, Nick Kahrs, Jonathan Taylor, Jordan Hyland, and Matt Emerson can all participate.
