| We will be racing this week, but next week we might not. I'll be down in Florida for the 4th of July into the rest of the week (I'll get to see the shuttle launch hopefully, too!) and I probably won't be racing at all next week, but it all depends on you guys and what not.
If you guys end up racing, can someone sub for me? _________________ Solstice Racing main Admin. Career Wins: 40 (Last - Daytona, Studio Speed Retro Superspeedway Series) Career Poles: 38 (Last - Atlanta, Studio Speed Cup Series)

| With 4 races left, I guess now we can talk about what we could do for next season. Hoping I can keep control of this series for next season, I would like to throw out 2 ideas to start out:
First idea would be a truck series, using the NCTS09 mod while it being a series everyone can use. 12-15 races with SS races, Intermediate, Short Tracks, and some RC tracks, with the possibilty of a dirt track as a shootout or something. I would like for the intermediate tracks to have enough tire wear to not be full throttle for too long, but not be blowing out tires after 20 laps also. Everyone would be allowed so that new guys could have a series to get experience here while also the top drivers can run, too.
Second idea would be a nationwide-esque series, obviously we have a couple of cts series as it is (well retro is) and we have gns physics for the short track league. Other than the ARCA series, we haven't had a gns series where we ran every style track that I can think of, obviously the new mod doesn't seem like it'll be out for a while, so we'd do the pwf mod for this. We'd do similar tracks to the purposed truck series.
What do you guys think, and what would you guys wanna do? _________________ Solstice Racing main Admin. Career Wins: 40 (Last - Daytona, Studio Speed Retro Superspeedway Series) Career Poles: 38 (Last - Atlanta, Studio Speed Cup Series)

| I know it's a harder to do, but I think you guys should make to where only rookies are available to score points in this series, basically what they are doing in Nationwide so we don't have the same champions in this series. | |

| Well if we were to do that, then we could limit the top guys to select races, but I still don't know if I'm going to have control over this series because the short track series is currently being replaced by Lambert's, but we'll see somewhere along the way... _________________ Solstice Racing main Admin. | im really fine with just 6-8 car fields. dont want to be in a situation where a top guys causes a wreck and a regular running for points gets involved | |

I'd much rather the series be scrapped like Caleb is planning on doing before this happens. For me there's nothing more degrading than being in championship contention but at the same time getting your ass kicked by a bunch of buschwhackers. _________________ NR03 Career wins: 15 Career championships: 1

| from what i heared caleb doesnt want to keep this series going if he has to run it with his server and stuff.
If we could get something figured out and people are on board my server is good for 10-15 car feilds _________________ Solstice Racing Winter Proline Truck Series Season 10 ChampionSolstice Racing Proline Cup Series Season 3 ChampionVSR Nationwide Series Season 1 ChampionVSR Winston Cup Series ChampionSolstice Racing ASA Indycar Series Oval ChampionSolstice Racing Road of Champions Class B Champion64 NR2003 League Race winsLatest: 11/16/14 OSW SNC @ Phoenix

| Reason being is if we don't get bigger fields in ARCA. _________________ R.I.P. | Honestly, I think it would be cool to keep it going if someone else can host a server, regardless, 6-10 car fields are fine for me if newer/lesser skilled guys can get some experience and actually run up front without faster guys running. The 6 people that actually show up on a weekly basis really enjoy it. | |

Seeing as how we get small crowds weekly this would be perfect. That way we can keep it running and take a load off Caleb's mind. Just keep it the way it is. _________________ NR03 Career wins: 15 Career championships: 1

Actually, I definitely wouldn't mind doing this. It could keep its spot here on the forum and Caleb wouldn't have to necessarily be here to get the server up and stuff. I would probably also run a reduced schedule to help keep the field up in races, while also allowing for a better championship race. If we could do that Jake, and if Caleb will give a go ahead, then why change it? I'm up for that. _________________ Solstice Racing main Admin. | What are some tracks you guys wanna see on the schedule for next season? I have a few in mind, but I want your input also... I know I actually want to keep a couple of the non-SS tracks that we currently have on the schedule, but we'll see for that... haha _________________ Solstice Racing main Admin. | For some reason, I thought you were gonna throw Richmond out there I was thinking about possibly 2 RC's, but that would probably be stretching it... haha _________________ Solstice Racing main Admin. | Atlanta Texas Suzuka East Brands Hatch Short Motor Mile (very fun short track) Las Vegas Daytona Dega Toledo Bristol Irwindale Oswego (.774 mile track, really fun)
and we should use the ASA Speed Truck mod (its PWF Trucks with hoosier tires and gns physics)
