One of the IMSA Porsches has wrecked already. Qualifying will begin in 2 hours. Audi and Peugeot look close in LMP1. Strakka is winning LMP2, Corvette looks strong in GT. Lotus is just...Bad. 18 seconds off GT pace.

Lotus still 9.5 seconds off pace...Not bad for its 2nd race ever. Better than Aston Martin who is 28 seconds off LMP1 pace.

I think Oreca could very well win the race. Audi and Peugeot are gonna overpush themselves..with their new cars. Then again..The Oreca is last seasons Peugeot which failed...So maybe Pescarolo..Which would be a hugely popular win.

Its in the running to be entered into Le Mans next year. There is a project called the "56th Garage" to put a 56th car with some kind of alternative technology in it to race against the normal 55 car field in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. There are 3 cars in the running that could be chosen as the 56th car, that will essentially run in a class of its own. It could either be the Delta Wing or...

Man, the money they would raise selling tickets would surely break even on the cost of all the equipment lol

edit: only 320 tickets are being sold. Still, that's alot of money lol

Also, I don't think it's Bowman Gray it'self selling the raffle tickets, just the guy who owns that particular modified and the organization he's apparently working with.

the 320 tickets are probably long gone by now lol, if i lived down there i would've instantly entered

320 tickets at $100 is 32k, most older tour mod cars go for 25-30k. The pictures show it appears to be a 1995-2000 so he's actually not loosing that much doing it this way lol.
