| LAMBERT WINS AT KENTUCKYAfter a good long battle at Kentucky, Lambert brings home the win. This is Lambert's first win since last season in Pro-Line at Las Vegas. Lambert and his crew where looking at this race from the beginning of the season and circled it to try their hardest for the win. Well, all the hard work paid off. In every testing sessions for the track, Lambert and his team were there. They knew that race was like the Daytona 500 for Lambert. He and his team would work hard on the setup, even up to last minutes in happy hour trying to get just the right handle on the track. Even after the race, Lambert was still complaining about it being tight in the center. But never the less, at the end of the day, Lambert's #53 Honda was still the fastest. We caught up to Lambert in victory lane: "Man, I can tell you how thrilled I am right now. We worked and worked on the car, and she still wasn't just how I wanted her, but man was she fast. I can't give enough credit to everyone here at LLR and this Monster Energy crew, b/c this is what the team and car are made of. So, thanks to all the guys. But woo-hoo! I'm still shaking. Want to say good race to the 33, 15, and 19, they give me a run for my money..."As you could tell, Lambert was over ecstatic with his win. Lambert and the Monster Energy team look to get a few more wins this season, and go after the mac daddy of them all, the Pro-Line Championship. Lambert later said that he dedicated this win to Dan Wheldon and his family. | |

| BIG NEWS FROM LLRToday Lambert called a press conference to media about big plans for LLR next season. As the media arrived, everyone was talking about what the big news could be about. As we were waiting on Lambert to take the stand, we noticed that Lambert was not wearing his normal LLR #53 Monster Energy polo shirt that he is normally seen wearing on media days, so we knew something big was up. And we were right. There is no better way to explain the plans except from Lambert him self: "...We here at LLR would like to make a big announcement for our future plans for the next seasons. Brett and myself have talked somethings over and have decided to expand our horizons. At the end of this season, Lambert-Lawrence Racing will be no more. We have decided to join forces with another team. That team is Big Evil Racing. As most of you know, Brett and I have worked well with BER owner Chad Mikosz in the past and we look forward to doing it again. You may ask why, what is wrong with LLR? My answer is nothing. The reason for the merger is to better expand our team. With only 1 full time driver, myself, it's hard for us to constantly be competitive. With that said, this will also give us more teammates, which are needed mostly at all tracks, and of course superspeedways. We've worked well on our own, but we decided that this would be best for the long haul. Brett and I would like to keep our competitive streak alive, and we think there is no better way than combine 2 teams together. Now I'm betting y'all wondering about sponsorship. As you all know, I've been sponsored by Monster Energy and Brett has been sponsored by Mello Yello for a long time. And joining a Pepsi company team just doesn't make sense. Well let me explain. At the end of the season, both Mello Yello and Monster Energy contracts are up for us. Monster Energy has been a great sponsor to us and myself. But either way, they were leaving the #53 at the end of the year. It's nothing personal, they were just looking to help another team. To be honest I'm fine with it. It's just going to be wierd not seeing that bright green "M" on the hood anymore. But never fear, Brett and I have found new companies to help us on our new journey. We are not able to speak about them yet because our lawyers said we couldn't. But I assure you that they are great. As for manufacturers, LLR using Honda and BER using Chevy, we decided to stick with BER and Chevy. We feel like we can be the strongest with Chevy. As for other changes, there will be some number changes for Brett and myself. I will be drivng the #5 and Brett will be driving the #14 in honor to his NASCAR hero, Tony Stewart. All in all, I think this merger will be a great one. With all of our employees and engineers joining the new team, I think this will be a power house, and hopefully a new championship team..."Lambert posted this secret testing picture on the screen behind him during him speaking. - Spoiler:
