Lone Wolf Racing

Lone Wolf Racing is the new home of driver/owner Brett Lawrence after a lack of funding forced him to close down all operations at BLR. LWR will be a single car team with Lawrence as the driver. Due to having a small budget the team will more than likely not make all the races this season and Lawrence is still trying to line up sponsorship for as many races as possible.

LWR Experiences Heartbreaking Setback:

Monday 2/20/12
Due to several expense miscalculations, it was discovered that funding a truck and nws car for Daytona would leave the team way over budget. Sponsorship money from GoPro would not be in in time to cover the expenses for the truck team and would still put things really tight for the NWS program. When asked why he wouldn't attempt to start and park, Lawrence simply answered "you guys know how I feel about that". The team looks to have plenty of funding for next week.


Update Tuesday 2/21/12
In a last minute deal Jarrett Stewart has volunteered to drive one of Brett's test cars that was left in Daytona in tonights race. Stewart does not have a nationwide ride and is already in Daytona so he we fill in for a 1 race deal. The car will be prepared and wrapped by Lawrence's BER Pro Line crew.

Lawrence gets 1st win for LWR at Las Vegas:

Lawrence was very emotional in victory lane saying that this win means so much for this team. LWR is on a strict budget and races week to week not knowing if they will be able to make it to the next race. The win boosts Lawrence to 3rd in the points only 2 points out of the lead.
