Brian Wallace In Critical Condition After Horrifying Wreck at Dega
It was the final lap of the Winston 500, all hell broke loose. Coming out of turn four there was a check up in which Brian Wallace got into the left rear quarter panel of his teammate, Shawn Taylor. Only a split second after that, his other teammate, Keith Sherman, got into the back of Brian Wallace. In an eerie look-a-like to Bobby Allison's 1987 crash, Brian Wallace flew up into the fence violently. Thrown around like a rag-doll on the asphalt, Brian hit the track and began to barrel roll and cartwheel in a berserk manner. Landing deep into the infield, Brian's car was just a roll-cage. He was airlifted to the UAB hospital unconscious. We will be updated on his condition soon.

UPDATE: Brian Wallace is conscious and awake, but doctors say his condition is the most severe of what they have ever seen. They have told us he has broke both his legs once again, his left arm including every finger, torn Achilles tendons, right shoulder fracture, torn rotator cuff, a broken pelvis, a cranium fracture, and a severe cervical hyperextension injury. (whiplash)
