Times like this that make you wonder what is truly important in life.

Today the police were called to my Great Uncles house. He lives by himself in a mobile home community. His neighbors said he wasn't answering his phone and were unable to contact him. My Uncle went there with the police, and broke into the house. They found him dead. They said he had likely passed three days ago.

I just got my blood test results back from thursday. The only thing that was off was something called the TSH. TSH is Thyroid Stimulating Hormone and can be a sign of hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism is a huge cause of anxiety, stress, and depression. Typically in assessing a thyroid issue they see the TSH is low and check you TF3 and TF4 levels. The TF3 and TF4 levels show the actual Thyroid functions. Apparently when they went back and ran those numbers they came back normal. I am reading now that it is potential for low TSH to be caused by overstress, but apparently it causes very bad anxiety and depression. It can also cause shaking (which i've had lately, related to anxiety seemingly), weight loss, etc.

Whenever I stay up late, my thoughts get really heavy like this. I just don't know how anyone keeps going. What am I supposed to be living for? How can I prepare for death? What comes afterwards? Its just that there is so much doubt I don't think that the bible's explanation could even give me hope, besides my other obvious problem with the bible. Its all a twisted game. All I know is that millions of people want me dead, I'll probably die all by myself after a life of accomplishing little to nothing worth noting. It'll be like I wasn't even here. People will remember me for a few years, but in the grand scheme of things, I'll be forgotten as quickly as the millions of other unspectacular people in the world. I can't help it. ALl I want is some concrete lies to let me know its okay to feel this way. To let me know this isn't all pointless. To let me know there is a level 2 or a retry or something after this. But no one and no book can give that to me.

I can't sleep. I just lied down and thought. If I fell asleep and died I would have accomplished nothing. No one would care. I need some shred of anything to hold on to. I though about the big bang theory, no defined afterlife there. But I don't think I can even keep going without that promise. I feel like a child who needs to be lied to. Its like when I think about it my mind goes into some different state, like I zoom out on the universe. Now what? Its literally inconcievable that there is nothing else. I can't let myself think it or else I can't think at all. Why is everything like this. There are no assurances for anything, no promises, no happy hopeful scientific guesses, nothing. All doom and dust. Nothing I will ever do, and I won't do anything, will change the fact that I will die, be quickly forgotten, and move onto nothing. My conciousness, as an entity, refuses to believe there isn't a way to escape from death. Although, at times like these, I really wonder if its worth the stress to try to fight through all this. Then I realize, yeah, it is, if this is all I ever get to do.

So since I have no actual friends to talk to, I'll just vomit my feelings all over the internet so you can bash me, tell me how stupid I am, or ignore me. Just like anyone and everyone I ever talk to. Because nothing I do has ever been right, okay, interesting, or noteworthy.
