Hmmm..... I didn't know Diamond P did some Modified Tour races for TNN. I know TNN did some Modified coverage though with their NASCAR crew(have tape of the 1993 NHMS Shootout 40). Love watching these races from back in the day!

Grandfather died this morning.. I am glad he is no longer suffering. Just sad that it went this way, it seemed nobody wanted to help this man so he just got tired. Hospitals, Doctors, Hospice. Fuck them all.
The best man I ever knew is gone now but his suffering is gone and he can go see his own mother and father in Heaven. I will miss him more than anything in this world, he was my Dad in all reality. He was there for the 20 years my Dad wasn't. He was there to guide me, to help me and he is the reason I am the man I am today. So many people loved this man and for a damn good reason. I am thankful for the past 2 years especially growing close to him and to be able to go to garage sales, auctions, antique shops and to be able to spend the time I did with him. I am thankful for it, sad and a little upset about how it went yes. I dont know if I'll ever get over the lack of help from Doctors and Hospitals and I'll sure as hell never forget how Hospice treated him and helped him die (and they sure as hell did and one day I'll explain but today isn't that day).
Right now its just very sobering. I knew tonight was going to be the night, I did not sleep at all. But he is in Heaven now and I'm okay with that.

I'm sorry to hear that. Sometimes life can be really annoying how it just does things without consulting anyone, but it is what it is and no one can really change it.

My only two grandparents dropped by to visit just a minute ago. After reading this, I just felt so grateful. I need to spend time with them because they won't be around forever. My grandma has alzheimers and my grandpa is just a cheap old man, heh.

I only had the fortune of knowing one grandparent, my nana and she passed away last October, coming up on one year since then. Believe me I know exactly how you feel, and it's not good. Cherish the good times, and be grateful that the bad times are over. As mentioned before he fought a good fight. May he rest in peace. We're all here for you if you need, you know that bro.

My condolences, bud. It's a huge blessing to know that the suffering is gone when a loved one passes away, but it still hits you hard, no matter what.
I hope you are able to use his passing as more motivation with your charity work through the diecasts you buy and sell. Now it's time for you to make him proud of you from above.
It's a shame the hospital treated him so badly, though. You're supposed to count on them to be the catalyst towards healing, yet they are too obsessed with money to do their jobs. Shame.

Im very sorry to hear this JRob. Sounds like he was a great man, but he isn't suffering anymore. Cherish the good times that you had, and never forget what he meant to you. If you ever need anything, just like everyone else here, let me know and I'll talk to ya.
Stay strong bud.
