Pastrana leads Nationwide practice. Okay. Lepage also faster than Danica.

The NWS race was pretty good from what i seen if it. Fell asleep in the middle of it tho lol. Jr on the pole for the Cup race Also hearing that Di Resta had a gearbox change which will result in a 5 place grid spot penalty!

The NHRA Traxxas Nitro Shootout for Funny Car, scheduled for Saturday’s rain-delayed completion of the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals presented by Auto-Plus, has been postponed until the AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex on Sept. 22. Heavy overnight rains in the Indianapolis area forced NHRA officials to delay the start of racing and didn’t allow enough time to run the $100,000 specialty race

In what has to be one of the most surprising qualifying results I've seen in Grand-Am. The #63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari has won the pole in GT in the team's first race.

Jack Roush Jr. is out for the rest of the Continental Tire Series hand after breaking his hand in a big flip at Laguna Seca.

Pretty funny. With some of the weather delays during the day in some of the football games, I went and looked up rain out rules. Under the NASCAR section on the wiki paged it mentioned how NASCAR would sometimes wave the green and yellow to start counting laps while the track dried completely. I couldn't remember the last time it had happened, and now they are doing it at this moment lol.

Definitely one for the ages. Now that the chase is set, there isn't anyone you can throw out and say there's no way they'll win it.
Obviously you have your favorites (JJ, Smoke, Hamlin can be thrown into that) and then the guys who have a lot to overcome (JG, Harvick, Truex essentially) and the sleepers (BK, Kenseth, Biffle could be also, heck Kahne's been consistent since Texas in April...)
DNF's are going to hurt more this year than any other year it appears. Everyone seems so close at this moment.
I'm pretty excited about this chase honestly... Hope it comes down to 4-6 guys within 15 points of each other for the final race.
