Stress sucks. Things work out in the long run though. Just focus on the future because things will get better eventually.

feel like I got hit by a truck today...sick/sore/week...100.7 fever

So my uncle had a heart attack yesterday, out of nowhere. It's a shock to our family because he's in his early 50s with minimal health complications. He's fine now and is heading home tomorrow. Heart problems have plagued my dad's family for generations, what caused it was a blocked artery out of nowhere entering his heart. one thing that saved him from major damage was he has a freak thing where he has three arteries entering that chamber of the heart rather than the normal two. This is a huge wake up call to me and my dad. For the most part we can't do much about genetic problems, but improving our health habits can go a long way to reduce the risk of heart problems we may face in the future.

I know what you mean about a wake up call. My dad is type 2 diabetic, yet he still eats all sorts of things that could kill him, and he doesn't exercise at all. He sleeps most of the time he's home. Last year he developed these bad ulcers on his shins and they still haven't healed. That for me was enough to turn my life around health wise. Like I've said before, if we only get 90 years I'm going to do my best to be healthy enough to live it.

Sorry to hear about your uncle, glad he's going to make it out alright, though.

I know most of you have more important stuff going on but I would like to announce something.

Had fun at the race track last night, but it's not fun when you can't sleep at 4:30AM and then learn your dad is in the hospital from a facebook post. At first hearing that his leg was going to be amputated but that wasn't the case and was a lie but has a toe infection, apparently he gave house keys to one of his "friends" to take care of the dogs, I wonder how much stuff has been robbed so far. I just want to scream........

Since last October, I've had problems with my back. I was first diagnosed with a herniated disc, and went through physical therapy. The pain never went away, and I finally saw a neurologist today. I was told I was born with a form of spina bifida. I was pretty scared at first, until I found out as much as 20% of all people are born with it. For some reason, this isn't common knowledge. It can lead to severe problems, as your spinal cord can potentially become tethered and cause permanent nerve damage. Most of the time, though, it doesn't cause any problems. Thankfully.

Well I get up to 5th in last night race and what happens. My fuckin brake pedel breaks on me. So it had of been a sign last night that I should of not been in 5th last night. Well I'll be taking a break from racing for awhile untill I can get a new wheel.

Just got home and paid it. Been gone since Friday.

My friend graduated from college with a 5 year aero engineering degree..Going in it was "everyone gets hired right away when they leave" Now he spent all that money, worked his ass off for 5 years, put way too much money in...and can't even get a call back from a company after 4 months.
