| After dropping out of the Proline Series earlier this season, Lambert is making his return. He will make as many races as he can in the last part of this season, and will look to go full time again next season. After his time off, Lambert has lost all of his sponsorship, and Toyota has pulled out of LMI. So, Lambert will be driving his garage built race cars until he can find sponsorship. Dodge has agreed to help Lambert out for the rest of the season with engines and he has signed a 2 season contract with Dodge. Lambert says it sucks that he to let it go this long and it will be hard to get back to being competitive in this sport, but he thinks he can pull in sponsor by the beginning of next season. As for now, Lambert will be driving a solid black #53 Dodge Charger.
