Problems for the SGTR hauler carrying the #15 Lucas Oil Chevy

Before the hauler even arrived at the track, there has already been an incident with Keith Sherman's car. About halfway through the trip from Lakeland to Daytona, the rear door was opened by a band of highway pirates. Police reports say that they managed to unhook the supports holding the car, fire off the engine, and drive the car off the hauler, all without the driver of the semi never suspecting a thing. The crafty little fuckers even managed to sneak a silver Prius onto the hauler before reclosing the door and taking off in the southbound direction of Interstate 4. Luckily the crew still has two backup cars that they will be able to use for tonight's race. A $1500 reward is being offered to anybody who can retrieve the car and return it (in one piece) back to the respectful owners. A lifetime supply of Lucas Oil is also being rewarded for the capture of the suspects, preferably tied up and placed in the trunk of the #15 Lucas Oil machine.

In a strange turn of events, Sherman's race shop in Lakeland, FL was destroyed in a hostile takeover lead by Shawn Taylor, the previous owners of the cars and race equipment. After Daytona, all equipment will be shipped back to the old SGTR shop near Toronto.

I heard in a news report that Nick Kahrs was taken hostage.

Shortly before 4:30 EST, there was a brutal attack at the SGTR shop. Our crew was on the scene as the shit went down. Driver Nick Kahrs was seen being dragged into the basement, and when prompted for comment, said the following; "OH MY GOD HELP ME!".
He went on in a distressed manner while being pulled into the basement. Shortly after bringing into question our nationality, he was removed from our sight. Then some Canadian gave us "bacon" to shut up about it. It was not bacon, but DECIET AND LIES!

Rumors are spreading through the ARCA garage that FBI agents have been seen talking with driver of the #15 SGTR entry, Keith Sherman. Nobody knows the exact reason but many people close in the organization have hinted that it may be a case of "murder for hire." The intended target, supsected to be none other than the ARCA points leader, Nick Baker, who has won 4 races this season. Sherman could not be reached for a quote, but his PR manager did give us a statement, saying that even if a suspension is imposed, "we will likely ignore it."

In other news, driver Nick Kahrs quits again, and nobody gives a shit, again.
