| DSR cautions are fine. When people do what the admin is saying not to, thats when we have problems. It was extremely unorganized.
I led over 90 laps tonight and didn't come away with a win. Had a phone call right as I was pulling away and I of course checked it out. Lost the lead and the win. Had a C with 3 laps left, Brian for whatever reason kept going after we had crossed the line so instead of having two laps to race we only had one. And everyone was screaming GWC as we were going green or whatever. Really really unorganized at the end.
All I can say is I gave that one away.

| The GWC deal was just me and adam not really being clear on it, and was a mistake on both our parts. Shouldn't happen again. _________________ R.I.P. | There were cars scattered across the track. I'm not arguing the validity or necessity of the caution that was thrown. Any other lap it would have been a caution, so the right call was made there. It was everything after the fact that caused the confusion. More people not knowing what to do and a shit ton of chat that really prevented Adam from conveying any information in the extremely small window of time we had. It just needs more tweaking is all. It can work, but it's far from a perfect system. There's no really clear cut guidlines. How late in the race can we throw a caution and still go green at certain tracks for instance is the problem here. All I know is we've had even more complaining and bitching about calls than we ever have in the past. My self included. - AuzGrams wrote:

And I hate this point to no end. The reason we are running these types of cautions is so that when things that would throw a caution under the old system happen, the actual caution doesn't come out. You saying that makes it sound as if there is no difference and we should just run with cautions turned on. If it were normal cautions the race would have probably ended under yellow. I would have been fine with that over the massive clusterfuck of confusion that happened afterwards. Which now, officially, it has since we reverted back to the time of caution. _________________ NR03 Career wins: 15 Career championships: 1

| Yeah, we were all just mass confused on what to do because we had 1 lap left and a chance to run that last lap. Adam hasn't been around much to know for certain that we don't do GWC, and Brian just assumed to go green with the white flag. We haven't been in that situation yet, where we catch a caution with 3 laps to go and have 2 laps to work with, so like I said, we'll tweak it and learn from last night. _________________ Solstice Racing main Admin. | I have, we've seen much better racing and a huge decrease in cautions. | |

| I have noticed a BIG difference, and yes Sherm, I realize that my point is not really that valid, but I would rather deal with some confusion with the system to start out and actually have green flag racing then none at all with the old one. From what Adam sounded like on TS last night after the race when I was on there, it seemed like from what he described it warranted a simulated caution. | |

| It warrented a caution because Wetz and Jake both wrecked and I think at least one of them flipped too lol _________________ Solstice Racing main Admin. Career Wins: 40 (Last - Daytona, Studio Speed Retro Superspeedway Series) Career Poles: 38 (Last - Atlanta, Studio Speed Cup Series)
