Well thanks Baker! Atleast the 2000 carset.. does anyone know what happened at SG3 Racing? They had all those carsets..

They died either last year or the year before...

You might be able to find something on Wayback machine, but most likely not.

SBR has a mighty fine 2001 carset.

Just a thought, but since we only have 1 series running right now, I was thinking of maybe another "fun" series afterwards. I kind of miss the old dirt track races we used to have, and the Dirt Late Model mod is something that we've never used, and I think it's pretty cool. There are a good bit of tracks out there, so we could have some good dirt track racing...

Kinda ironic you mention that, we we're discussing that stuff last night and thinking about doing another one of the half asphalt half dirt series like we did way back in the second season of Solstice.

I'd love to do that, we were actually thinking of using the bullring dirt late model mod the other night.

Well awesome! I was looking around for templates and I found a place that has them in 2048, and the guy that did them put a lot of features in them. I really like the mod.

I dont really think its all that great looking tbh. Everyone in the Sim Racing United page was jizzing over it, and i simply posted my opinion and they got butthurt and defensive over it lol. You cant really see that much in his screenshots or video, but from what he has on his forums, i cant say that theyre that great. But then again, what do I know? I'm not Matt Wishart

SRD just released their NWS13 mod, looks like everything is basically the same except (obviously) the Chevy lol

the chevy thats clearly edited from the existing challenger model, and the sharkfins clear, but yes, completely the same almost

Not surprising. I noticed while modeling the Camaro front end, that they are similar, but the details are extremely different.

Why change everything when all you have to do is change just one thing? lol

All they would of needed to do was change the front end, and they barely did. lol
