| Not surprised TBH. Red Bull wasn't competitive given all of the capital put into the project and Mateschitz looks to have had enough with the lackluster figures. Makes for a very interesting Silly Season coming up with the addition of Kahne and Vickers to the mix. Again, not very surprised to have heard this because it was only a matter of time. Poor Whitt, after what looks to be the position of his life, he get royally fu*#ed. That's racing, weather you like it or not. | |

| Well that sucks. I guess because they can't dominate NASCAR like they do in F1 they have to pull out. Doesn't really affect Kasey at all so I'm not to worried about it. Just sucks for BV and Whitt. | |

| Money doesn't buy results, I hate it for the employees, crew members, and drivers. Hopefully they can find something next year, Red Bull tastes horrid. | |

| I think it was mainly due to the fact that the main people who they are tring to advertise to in the states (young adults) were not watching NASCAR in the masses they used to. I feel confident that BV will get a good ride. I think someone like Penske or EGR will add a car for him. Whitt on the other hand..... |

| Or the fact that anything Redbull has entered in they ALWAYS perform good, and if they didn't, they most likely didn't come back. | |

| i guess Nascar wasn't their major priority now because if you look at any other type of racing, Red Bull is sponsoring it somehow if its an entire series or a team. They're kicking ass in F1 (which is their major priority obviously since its F1) and they purchased Osterreichring earlier this year (so they are putting out money for sponsorship in the series that run on the track throughout the year.
i guess Red Bull doesn't think their is enough money in the series?? idk. I have a family friend that works for an international motor oil company and he a big sales director or something and i talked to him about if they would ever sponsor nascar and he said they wouldnt even make a big profit from sales and shit to even mess with so idk

| Again, they can't dominate NASCAR so they're probably leaving because of it. It just goes to show NASCAR isn't just a bunch of "rednecks" driving in circles. It's not easy, its probably the toughest motorsport there is. As an owner and driver. | |

| Cole Whitt actually will probably be unaffected by this. The truck he runs in is actually from Turn One Racing, which also fields Justin Marks' truck. Cole is a Red Bull driver, but he'll probably still get sponsorship from Red Bull in the future. Either way, someone will hop onboard with Cole and provide sponsorship.
Also, Vickers' is up at the end of the year and he's said he's been looking elsewhere for a ride, so doubt it will really affect what he's already been doing.

| Exactly. I'd love to see Vickers end up at SHR or something like that. He is to good of a damn driver to be forced back in to the Nationwide series or some field filler team. | |

| In all honesty, I doubt they were going to resign Vickers anyways. | |

Cole is basically on loan to Turn One because Red Bull didn't want to start a truck program to develop him. Red Bull provides most of the money to put Cole in the truck and holds his contract as well from what I understand. Red Bull folding would leave Cole primarily unfunded and technically without a ride unless Turn One officially signs him to the team.

| Which, given most of the races this year, would be a very stupid decision NOT to officially sign him, unless he asks for too much money, which I don't see him doing it... Turn One has great trucks and is a great team, I like them actually sticking to Justin Marks despite the bad start to the season, he's turned it around a little bit...
Red Bull Racing just might get taken over by Jay Frye (who is very high on Whitt) and some investors, so I don't think the team is done, although, they are probably screwed on sponsorship now...
