Burt Myers was involved in a bad testing accident today at Ace Speedway. He was testing a supermodified and the throttle hung going into the turn. Hes in the hospital now but hes alert and can talk but I doubt he will be able to race tomorrow at South Boston

He apparently has 3 broken ribs and a possibly punctured lung. Definitely no racing for him for a bit.

So i'm not sure if anyone has been really following it, but Harvick and his PR guy/right hand man have been having a duel of pranks back and forth since about the beginning of the season. Harvick got the idea to do the following about a month ago (this is actually a billboard, on the side of the interstate by the KHI shop in NC)

i was loving the teamwork by Tyler, Brett, Chad, Auz, Ian, and myself lol, we were kicking ass there halfway through. And they are starting their 2nd season of cup at Daytona next week. AND UPDATE OF BURT MYERS- he is still on a chest tube but they said they are gonna keep him in the hospital for a couple of more days so glad to see he's okay. Lee Jeffries is racing is car today at South Boston which i will not be going to. But im going to hang out with some guys that work at RIR so imma see if i can get some pit passes lol

That's pretty ironic, as Lee Jefferies is the one the Myer's family dueled with at times during the Madhouse series.
