my former (HS) team lost again in the semifinals against the same team that beated the crap out of me last year.. oh well at least they actually scored this year unlike last year where i blamed myself for losing the game...

Oh hey there everyone.

Yes, I'm back. And before I say anything else, I want to say sorry for the way I acted the last 3 or 4 weeks I was here before I left. Looking back at it, I don't know what was going through my mind at the time. Probably a combination of frustrations with my driving and things going on at school. Either way, stupid on my part.

Honestly, the last few weeks have been a huge change for me. Applying for colleges is among the most painstaking things man has invented. Sending transcripts, test scores, paying applications fees, etc. It's all given me a new insight into just what comes after graduation. Then there's been the stress of pretty much running our school's morning show. With a few exceptions, no one in the class does a thing, so I'm left trying to run cameras, fix lights, and basically run our studio - all as people are screwing around and playing Minecraft. 2 weeks ago I had to search around for 20 minutes to find a battery to go shoot a football game. Some jackass decided it would be funny to hide all of our batteries in the ceiling tiles. That incident has given me a new appreciation of the idea of professionalism.

As for what's happened since then sim-racing...let's see:
Start racing Star Mazdas for the full season on iRacing
Realize just how bad Adam Gilliland really is
Figure out my driving isn't as awful as I first thought
Spotted for Timmy in a truck race
Joined a legit team that doesn't have it's team owner disappear for 2 months at a time
Finished 4th in division 3, 19th overall in Star Mazda
Partnered with a painter to help promote his site
Get a video on a broadcasted race

It's been a very different time for me since I quit here. I probably won't do many races, if any at all, but I'm willing to help with whatever is needed.

That sucks Robson. Can never see what life has in store for you. Unfortunate that he passed away that early.

I had the apsolute weirdest dreams last night. They were like mixes of 8th gade, high school, and college with a mix of people from school and people from the internet.

IT ISN'T WORKING AGH

I've been thinking about it for a few weeks now and I think it's time to hang my cleats. I personally like playing football- I mean, I play it for fun and I don't think about it as a future profession (one of the reasons why I rejected Michigan State's offer)

But you know, college football is more technical: they mature you into becoming a professional football player; which I don't mind doing in the future but.. I got something else in mind that I want to do in the future. Maybe outside of football, maybe inside football but with a different approach... for example coaching.

Coaches that I've worked with told me that my football knowledge is broad— even though I've been only playing for 4 years. Whenever I look back at playing highschool football, it was fun 'cause.. everything doesn't really count (nothing big is at stake) whereas in college football or even pro football, those wins and losses count and those stats you put in stays in your record.

It's not really a dream of mine, It's just something that I want to do for fun-without half-assing it, but some people may say "oh you're half-assing what you've earned from hard work". I don't want to say that I'd had eniugh of playing football, but I just think it's time for me to move on if I am not going to think of it as a profession, or better yet as a dream. There are other people who needs the roster spot for next year more than I do.

So if you guys think I'm being retarded or something, just say so. Football is not the way to go in life. Living life to the fullest is.

He said theres nothing wrong seriously with my heart. He said theres a very small englargement to one of the septums, but he also said atleast a million people that exact thing, and its nothing. He's gonna do more test but he said theres like a 1 in 150,000 chance he's gonna find even a minor issue.

So told coaches today about my plans on dropping out the football team. They understood it and they said if I like, I would help out next year as a consultant because offense is what we are lacking.

I made this decision because I just felt like an ass when I realized that other people want this more than I do.
