Two car tango between AJ and Keselowski, let's see how fast and long they can go....

They were swapping just about every other lap. Don't know if that was just them practicing the swap or if they were actually overheating.

This is pretty much how it was last year. Everybody just running shakedown laps, and two teammates going out and drafting every now and then.

It doesn't matter how difficult Nascar makes it, if they can tango, they will because 1) Its faster and 2) Everyone else is doing it. Just setting up a wreckfest.

By the sounds of it so far the last lap is going to be chaos. I wonder how bad they will overheat just in a draft pack though..

Obviously it wouldn't be as bad as it is with the grill opening completely closed off. If it's a GWC finish, there won't be any concerns about engines I'm sure. It'll be just like the Fall Talladega race, with everybody getting all mixed up trying to get with their partner while the first few groups pull away.

That's where the wrecks will happen, people trying to get paired up with no radio communication between drivers.

202.4 MPH

Time for NASCAR to puss up and slow the cars down lol.

202 is a good speed as long as they don't get much higher than that. Of course what I consider a good speed and what NASCAR thinks is good may be different lol.

Recently they seem pretty content on sticking with one package. (Remember at the last test they had here, they opened up the restrictor plate on Nemechek's car to see how it would react, he had to lift in the turn.) The hope is to make them go faster to make it harder to keep the cars hooked up. All I see it doing is making the closing speed greater and causing more incidents while cars try to get hooked up.

they were running up to 207-208 in the shootout last year anyway lol, i think that's where the line needed to be drawn

The fastest single car speeds are between 190-195. The fastest two car tandem is 202. God knows what they'll run when they actually start drafting. And they're supposed to get into a small pack in the afternoon session, NASCAR wants at least 10 cars in a normal drafting pack to see how the cars react to the most recent changes.

they need to get 2-3 tangos drafting with each other to get a real idea of the top speed they can get

of course they will be pack racing at 1 pm while I'm still in school.

Well..they arent tangoing....but it look slike they are struggling to pass.

alright...this is epic..2x2 and 3x3 and the cars are VERY unstable.
