Can't believe this crap. This is like losing a dog or something lol..
Loved that damn track. Was on my 'bucket list' to go to a race there but so much for that.

The Cope twins news is out. Benny Gordon and the Cope twins will share the #24 Toyota in the Nationwde Series. The team is Horizon Sports Marketing. Jamie Lathrope is crew chief, and currently they are scheduled to run 20 races, although it could be a full season with a bit more $$$.

Also Hackett Racing is back for a full schedule with their #76 Ford in the Trucks. Derek White will drive at Daytona. Apparently they finished a new shop during the off season.

I would assume that the added grill there would be to help with the 2 truck tangos...
Is the quarter panel curved more? Is that what the change is?

Her team is also building an observation deck to add to their pit box. They are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more prepared than they have been in the past. In 2010 they just kind of bought trucks and showed up. Last year was a disaster, after the fiasco with teh 79 team.

Yep Shawn, now I see it lol
The rear part of the fender appears to be lined up (or almost lined up) with the bottom of the side skirt, I guess the bumper is not going to line up with anything in that case...
I guess so the truck pushing can't just dip the nose underneath the truck ahead to do the tango...

either that or it will line up with the actual front bumper

I was just told by someone that is at Irwindale Speedway that they are taking down the pit grandstands right now, King Taco was told if they have anything at the track they want that it has to be gone by monday morning, there is a paper shreading truck outside the office eating paper, Bob DeFazio is cleaning out his office & that Jim Williams the tracks owner walked away & washed his hands of the track 2 weeks ago. They said the track will be locked down monday morning!
And the website is down too.
It's official, me =

The #55 MWR team will be locked into the Daytona 500 via owner points, thanks to FAS Lane Racing selling their points to them. Also, after Daytona (Terry Labonte is in the 32, looks like he'll be the only PC in the field) Roush Fenway's #6's OP's will go to the 32 car so that they will be locked into the remaining 4 races. (The 6 car will be at Daytona with Stenhouse)
