| For the Indycar race at Iowa. They will use 3 30 lap heat races to set the starting lineup. | |

| Why Indy? The 3 wide start is tradition!
Basically they are doing the Gatorade duels, but the top 10 will be set through there own heat race... That's cool, wonder if they are looking at implementing that for every race lol (Or at least the ovals except Indy, assuming they will have ovals after this year of course lol) _________________ Solstice Racing main Admin. | They are also going to have different boost settings (the twin turbo) on different types of tracks (similar to a restrictor plate, but used with software).
38 in/550hp for the speedways, 41 in/600hp on the short ovals and 46/675hp on the road course, all controlled by the ECU.
And they will not have overtakes for the first part of the season until the engine manufactures are happy with them, which will probably be a couple races after Indy. _________________ R.I.P. | A little confirmation from GRC: http://www.rallycrossworld.com/2012/02/13/grc-partners-nascar-and-indycar/They will be doing away with the 2WD class as well as it appears they are dropping the head to head rally stage and sticking with only Rallycross. The X Games will count for GRC points and there will be Rallycross rounds both saturday and sunday at the X Games. Top 13 in points are locked into the X Games as well as some wildcards for manufacturer, etc. All races live on ESPN3. Next season they will add a round at the Winter X Games and an International round. | |

| Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing is expanding! Running 2 trucks at Daytona for sure. Jennifer will be in the #10 Mark One Ford, and Jake Crum will be in the Banditchippers.com Dodge. I thought it might be Jake Crums own team, but JJCR's Twitter posted a pic of the engine going in. Jennifer will also attempt at least Daytona and Vegas in her Nationwide car. | |

| Rick Ware Racing moves up to Sprint Cup using Max Q's equipment and shop. They will run the full schedule. Mike Wallace will drive at Daytona, Timmy Hill will take over a couples races in and take rookie of the year. | |

| IF he makes any races, I would be very honest here when I say this, he will barely crack to the top-30 only a handful of times, I hope he's at least doing the full NNS schedule too... _________________ Solstice Racing main Admin. | I like Timmy, but I really don't think he is ready for Cup. And in Max Q equipment? He'd be lucky to make more than 20% of his attempts. | |

| Okay then...so Jared Marks isn't 18 so he isn't allowed to run ARCA at Daytona. However, they have entered him and he WILL practice to earn a minimum of 25 drivers points. Not sure why they let him practice but not race. | |

| BK Racing sounds like a WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY richer Front Row. You don't just buy 19 Red Bull Cars for pennies. I'm hoping they didn't blow their entire years budget on equipment. | |
