| Just heard about a press conference that NASCAR just called for tonight at 8:15. Rumor is it's about MWR and their part in deciding the Chase.
I hope that MWR gets Truex AND Bowyer kicked out of the chase. | |

The three crew chiefs – Brian Pattie (No. 15), Scott Miller (No. 55) and Chad Johnston (No. 56) – have all been placed on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31.
"Based upon our review of Saturday night’s race at Richmond, it is our determination that the MWR organization attempted to manipulate the outcome of the race," said Robin Pemberton, NASCAR vice president of competition. "As the sport’s sanctioning body, it is our responsibility to ensure there is a fair and level playing field for all of our competitors and this action today reflects our commitment to that." | |

| Im looking through..and if I have this right...We could be looking at 25 Prototypes at Daytona (massive expansion, 16 from DP atleast, atleast 1 Delta Wing, atleast 5 LMP2's from America, (maybe Muscle Milk and Dyson), 3 LMP2 teams from Europe interested. I think we could look at 11-12 LMPC's with the amount of new cars planned for entering from teh current teams and 8 Star and Starworks. Combine in GTE I'd expect 10-12 cars. and GTD+GTC+GX, there are updwards of another 20 cars atleast. Right now theres about 69 cars that are almost guranteed atleast for Daytona and that doesnt even start counting teams that might do a one off. | |

| Some Additions to the 2014 USCC Entry List:
-Wayne Taylor Racing will add a 2nd DP
-Jeroen Bleekemolen/Viper Exchange will run the first new Viper in GT Daytona.
-All 4 LMP2 cars are expected to return, with likely atleast 2 to 3 more joining.
-Core Autosport will run 2 factory Porsche GT Le Mans cars.
-PR1 Mathiasen has bought a 2nd LMPC car to race next year. Atleast 12 LMPC's are expected. | |
