The Proline Cup Series' 6th season will once again feature FOM, with a new manufacter in the form of Toyota. After Josh Chin's motor fiasco at Homestead that ultimately cost him the championship, the team has decided to end their relationship with Ford and start their own in-house motor program.

After a season of ride-hopping, Matt Emerson will return to the #41 car with sponsorship from Poynt and CarlsRacing.com.

Riding the momentum of a strong second place finish in last season's standings, Josh Chin continues to drive the #93 car for this season, bringing last season sponsors TMDVP and Poynt, in addition to former sponsor SunTrust's return to the #93 again.

Matthew Emerson will be running the #41 for the 6th Proline Cup series instead of the number 4. When asked Emerson said, "I used the 41 back in season 3 and I had great success. I'm hoping to bring back that success and finally bring home a championship for Flat-Out Motorsports."

Emerson came just short of capturing the title in season 3 and Josh Chin came very close to grabbing the title in season 5.

When team owner Ian Hann was asked about the program this year in switching to Toyota's and new sponsorship, he replied with, "I don't give a single fuck and it refrains me from beating the shit out of you." He did also ask his crew to get the reporter "out of his motherfucking face." Ian Hann and Matt Emerson have been known for their tempers as both drivers have been suspended from racing a total of 3 times at Solstice.

FOM SELLING ASSETS TO KBM, CLOSING DOORS

As of August 22nd, 2012 Flat-Out Motorsports Proline Cup series operations will cease and all equipment and personnel will transfer to Kyle Busch-Mirai Motorsports. The team cited financial difficulties with sponsors poynt.com, SunTrust and Carl's Racing along with a lack of cooperation from driver Matthew Emerson for the team's decision. Josh Chin will move to KBM, bringing sponsorship from TMDVP along and picking up new sponsors in the form of Main Performance PC, obutto and Jersey Mike's Subs.
