Lilly Trucking, Martin's Food Markets to Serve as Primary Sponsors at Daytona

Virginia based Lilly Trucking has signed to serve as the primary sponsor for the #15 entry in the Daytona 500, which was left sponsorless after Fuel Doctor unexpectedly departed the team.
"Unfortunantly Fuel Doctor made the decision to depart for another team, but we apperciate some of our other current associate sponsors have stepped up to assist." The team plans to run an unsponsored car in the Shootout qualifier and hopefully the actual shootout to advertise the lacking of sponsorship.

Also, Martin's Food Markets, a popular chain of grocery stores throughout Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania has signed as primary sponsor on the #41 for a number of races, beginning at Daytona. Martin's will adorn the hood and quarter panels for both Daytona events plus 6 other races:

- Dover
- Bristol
- Richmond
- Martinsville
- Charlotte
- Rockingham

Emerson Brings Home A Solid Top 5 At The Shootout

Flat-Out Motorsports driver Matt Emerson brings home 3rd place in the Coors Shootout at Daytona. Emerson had to purchase his spot in from fellow driver Nick Baker. Emerson drove patient hanging in the back until the last lap when he hung on the low line bringing in 3rd place and the first top 5 for Flat-Out Motorsports this year. Matt is very excited for the 500 and the rest of the season.

FOM/RWR Daytona Preview

Flat-Out Motorsports/RWR goes into Daytona with a head of steam, after the team captured its first win and top 5's with ARCA driver Matt Emerson. After solid finishes at Daytona and Watkins Glen (with relief driver Jake Poulin at the wheel), Emerson captured his first win of the 2011 ARCA season at Rockingham Speedway with a controversial 10-to-go pass. With the Daytona 500 being the next race up for the team, expectations are high. "We had a great pair of cars for the qualifier. Unfortunately, circumstances took the #15 out of competition, but the #41 team was able to sneak in and bring home a strong finish in the Shootout. Hopefully we can continue that into the 500."

FOM/RWR intends to field 3 cars for this years Daytona 500. Ian Hann and Matt Emerson will pilot their #15 and #41 entries, with veteran Frankie Stickley running the #16. The #15 team welcomes the return of Direct Auto Insurance, who served as primary sponsor of the #6 and #47 trucks last season, as their primary sponsor for the 500 and hopefully more races to come. Meanwhile, the #41 team has picked up E3 Spark Plugs as primary sponsor for their Daytona 500 entry. Sponsorship for the #16 team is TBD.

#15 Teams' Future Undetermined

A serious injury to driver and team owner Ian Hann has left the plans of the #15 team up in the air as the second race of the season approaches. "We intended to run full-time and go for the championship, but with the recent events those plans are quickly falling to the way side. It looks as though it could be 5-7 weeks before i'm able to run at all again, depending on further developments." Keith Sherman has been tapped to run Phoenix and possibly Las Vegas, when hopefully a decision will be made. "We would like to keep the #15 running full-time regardless of who is driving but the amount of available drivers is limited."

Stickley, Lilly Trucking Onboard the #15 at Vegas

FOM is pleased to announce that Frankie Stickley will pilot the #15 Lilly Trucking entry at Las Vegas. After a rough weekend at Phoenix with Keith Sherman at the wheel, the team looks for redemption at a track that has brought success in the past. "We missed the setup big-time last week and it killed the run. Hopefully we'll have our stuff together and be able to dig out of this hole a bit this weekend." FOM would like to thank Sherman for his services in the #15 American Red Cross Ford at Phoenix.

Statement from Sherman's agent

"My client would like to thank FOM for giving my client the opportunity to field the #15 Ford for Phoenix. Although the result wasn't optimal, and the car may have been severely damaged, and my driver may or may not have almost Lepaged the leaders at one point or another, he still wishes to thank the team for allowing him the chance to drive."

RWR/FOM Dover Preview

RWR/FOM looks to the 1 mile track of Dover International Speedway for redemption in Solstices' top-tier series. Dover, which has been the site of some of RWR's best Nationwide series runs in the past, has also brought FOM great success. "We've had a number of top 5's and top 10's across all 3 series as well as RWR having top 15 runs here so it ranks pretty high on our list."

Frankie Stickley will return to the team in the #15 Greeting Express Ford while Matt Emerson will welcome new sponsorship running the #41 E3 Spark Plugs/Martin's Super Markets Ford. Ian Hann is expected to attempt in the #16 Lilly Trucking of Virgina Ford.

FOM to Revamp for Remainder of Season; Returns to Chevrolet.

With the 2011 season being a year of instability with drivers and sponsors, FOM looks to return to form to finish out the year. National Tire and Battery has been signed to sponsor the #41 Chevrolet of Matt Emerson for the remainder of the Proline season. "Our performances this season have been pretty far off and Dover was no exception. To go up there and be two of the slowest cars on track isn't cutting it." was a statement post-race. The team has struggled with setups since the first handling race at Phoenix, but things look to be back to normal after Infineon. "I will miss Infineon due to prior commitments but I should be back to using normal equipment after that. Hopefully myself and Emerson can work more on setups and be better then." said the team owner. Sponsorship for the #15 is still in negotiations while the team continues to search for partners for the ARCA team.

Man, thanks for giving me the ride in the #15 Ian. That was one hell of a racecar and I'm psyched to have come home 5th in my Cup debut. If you don't mind me asking, do you think that I could have a spot on the team for future races? Just as long as I can drive a Ford, I'd be perfectly content!

That would be awesome! Thanks a ton man! Also too, because i run all of the leagues, we could have a team car in all four series! And if you didn't know, I run a single car team myself, Brinson Enterprises East in Solstice and in ISRA. We are the only Ford team in either of the leagues and serve as a flagship team and R&D partner for the blue oval. If I could get a ride, I'd be bringing my Ford Quality Care/Motorcraft sponsorship along with me as well as the BEE engine and chassis facilities. Very Happy

Pilot Travel Centers to the #15; Third FOM Team in Talks

Pilot Travel Centers, LLC in partnership with Flat-Out Motorsports has announced that they will sponsor the #15 Chevrolet for the remainder of the Proline season. FOM, which has run a majority of the season with blank cars, has went through a number of changes as of late and the addition of Pilot is one of the many things the team has welcomed. "We're extremely pumped to work with the people at Pilot and it's great to have both the #15 and #41 sponsored for the remainder of the year."

Also, FOM has begun the process of adding a third full-time team to their stable to fill out the season. Matt Brinson, who was called on to run the #15 at Infineon, will serve as the driver while sponsorship and other aspects are determined at a later date.
